KUALA LUMPUR: Wanita Umno chief Shahrizat Abdul Jalil was currently grilled over her testimony which she was not aware of her husband's role in a National Feedlot Centre (NFC) project. Shahrizat told a justice it was not until 2007 which she became sure which her father was involved in a project.
"In 2007, my father pronounced he longed for our young kids [Wan Shahinur Izmir Salleh as well as Wan Shahinur Izanna Salleh] to come behind from abroad as well as work upon this project," Shahrizat told a court.
"Only then we knew what was function for certain."
Shahrizat is suing PKR strategy executive Rafizi Ramli as well as PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin for RM100 million over comments which allegedly implicated her in a National Feedlot Corporation Sdn Bhd (NFCorp) debacle.
Shahrizat's replies to a defendants' lawyer, Ranjit Singh, implied which she did know which her son Wan Shahinur Izran, who lived with her, had turn a single of NFCorp's directors in 2006.
When Ranjit noted which this was unusual, Shahrizat responded by saying members of her family lived independent lives.
She pronounced she had "no idea" where her son drove to work each day or what he worked as".

She pronounced she knew of her son's impasse in cattle breeding usually when her father told her of it, about a year after Wan Shahinur Izran Salleh's appointment as a NFCorp director.
On Monday, Shahrizat told a justice she felt a statements done by Rafizi as well as Zuraida were "not usually offensive a! s well a s defamatory, but they are undisguised insulting." She referred to Rafizi's call upon her to show remorse as well as his propelling her to apologise to a public.
Ranjit currently asked her whether she felt Rafizi's statements were worse than a statements she had done about him.
"You pronounced to Rafizi which he is an 'anak derhaka' [unfilial son], which he 'menjual agama' (has sole his religion) as well as 'hancur bangsa' (destroyed his race)," pronounced Ranjit.
"Which is more heinous? What my client was alleged to have said, or your statement?"
Shahrizat searched for difference to reply to Ranjit, as well as eventually said: "His statement was more heinous."
