Presidennya, Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim memberitahu, setakat ini pihaknya sedang mengadakan perbincangan dengan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) serta Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) bagi membolehkan jaket berkenaan dibekalkan kepada sukarelawan yang turut serta dalam misi tersebut.

Bagaimanapun katanya, jaket tersebut hanya akan dibekalkan kepada sukarelawan yang memasuki kawasan hitam dan merbahaya sahaja dimana ia dianggap boleh merisiko nyawa peserta tersebut.



Sebaliknya tambah beliau, sukarelawan yang ditempatkan di kem-kem yang dianggap selamat tidak akan dibekalkan jaket itu.

Kita akan tingkatkan aspek keselamatan sukarelawan yang mengikuti misi ini sebab kita tidak mahu sejarah hitam yang berlaku di Somalia berlaku lagi.

Atas sebab itu kita ada meminta bantuan PDRM dan ATM untuk menyediakan jaket keselama! tan dan ia akan digunakan oleh peserta yang memasuki kawasan berisiko tinggi.
