High on Tweetamania

Have been tweeting a year ago since attended a amicable media network which says which when you tweet, you have yourself manifest as well as marketable! Hmmm, not which you have anything to market, not being an businessman or any a single important or need any kind of prominence to have myself noticed or important sufficient for a universe to notice.

So twitter you did as well as not certain what to twitter since a little things in hold up should be in isolation as well as who a heck is meddlesome if you have an ingrown toe spike or which your feet is flourishing corn from all which walking or you have a terrible work related migraine?

Till not have some-more fingers than tweetie birds ie followers as well as you don't follow any tweets. But you do twitter about a many appropriate past time in BolehLand - SPR ie sex, politics as well as sacrament in no sold order. So when you review about a coolest PM in this 1Planet belonging to 1Malaysia as well as a Merdeka feat to outtweet even JB, justin bieber or obama as well as who have you - did you get into a frenzy of a jubilee or is it about glorifying a single fellow's ego?

So some-more than 3.6 million tweets to 1Malaysia a jot down compared to over 10k for a merdeka55. Which shows, a cult of celebrity among a BolehLand folks as well as can you pretence a tweets have been from jubilee members of BN which has well over 3 m as well as a little contend 4 m members. And a youths?

There have been claims which a tweets have been sent by automobile twitter bot where you can send a same twitter ad infinitum. Those IT as well as tweets experts have been already pouring ridicule upon a claim. Chicken feed it seems if you got autobots churning up a numbers. So was it a box when a ole associate was Rais-ing a throng to a frenzy to tweet, a vigilance was additionally sent out to all their tweet-bot 'Decepticon tweet-on'

Seems all those 3.6 million over tweets have been merdeka-related themes. Shouldn't there be similar to 3.6 m! for mer deka55 if you hold what merdeka is about than it's janji detepati than towards a person? Have a merdeka turn right away a cult of celebrity or rsther than a 'Hail Fuh! rer' kin d of Nuremberg or BN-berg celebration? Our Communication Minister contingency be all glee to have made these 3.6 million tweeters, if they have been individual tweets than multiple ones, eventually hold a words of politicians. Which would mean, BolehLand broke another initial in a universe where a people, especially school young kids as well as a youth have 100% faith as well as idea in what comes out of politicians!

So since is it which a domestic verbalise from a statute jubilee is to be believed though which of a opposition have been considered trickery, lies as well as notice only eh?

What was rsther than amusing leading to a central launch of this tweetamania, oh man you need to outlay a few thousand ringgit to central launch a twitter was all a acclamation as well as praise as well as personal glorification by this sad poor ole Communications Minister whose mode which night was tweeter mode to urge, encourage as well as additionally urged upon by a speaker tall upon shioksendiri feeling for everybody to twitter to 1Malaysia!

'Begging people to twitter so sad," remarked a government servant subsequent to me who was additionally suruh by trainer to attend a event.

We thought when ole Tun was about to retire, there was this God similar to frenzy to have all kinds of 'goodbye thank yous' including an ala Jean Michel Andr Jarre multi million ringgit (to be funded by in isolation business asking to apportion to a show) of lighting important turning point in KL. Thank God it didn't materialise.

Our 1Malaysia has knocked about all previous PM in regulating as well as spending millions upon a celebrity cult to uncover up support to ensure UMNO unequivocally than BN stays in energy for a subsequent 1,000 years. From unfamiliar picture con-job makers to paid cybertroopers, to MSMedia, countless bi! llboards as well as millions of animation books to worship 1Malaysia, never was so much money been outlayed by a single Prime Minster in such a short span of time for picture making.

Great leaders similar to Mahatma Gandhi or even a Tuanku Abdul Rahman didn't need to outlay millions upon millions of a people's money for a little shioksendiri per! sonality cult. Psychologists contend those who seek for such recognition have been unequivocally uncertain fellows.

I got a single twitter in a final two months from my friends which equates to so much to me as it is from a person you know. I'm not certain if you got 3.6 million tweets I'd hold they have been genuine expressions of adore for me! Simply since I'm no God or which saintly as well as holy to deserve such acclamation hah!

But let us a boring different tweeters don't be sore birdy losers as well as get jealous you got a single while this associate broke a BolehLand's Guinness Book of Record.

More flint than substance??
adapted striking fr web What do you unequivocally have of such millions tweets? Is it since jubilee members wish to mangle a jot down or is it in a psyche of BolehLand's generation who wish to prove to a universe they can mangle jot down of sorts, not necessarily of economic worth really? What is a economic worth in breaking records similar to tweets, regulating a many straws to have a flag, or longest capati, or ketupat, or lemang, or dikir barat, or many money outlayed upon a national day ala domestic jubilee celebration?

Or is it kids adore to twitter as well as feel shiok they tweeted a leader or for which matter justin bieber or their k-pop idol? So to be part of BN history, they'd tweet, no mistreat right? Perhaps how they feel or have of their twitter is a same the! y twitte r to Justin Bieber or Madonna or even Lady Gaga hmmh

Shouldn't a @merdeka55 get 3.5 million so which we,especially a younger generation unequivocally knows what it means? Wh! y a ne ed to twitter to 1Malaysia upon a day ostensible to be distinguished by all? Shouldn't a twitter be for a King? Love King as well as Country upon National Day not adore a budding minister, his FLOM, his BN jubilee right?

Something's not right eh? It is Merdeka or is it 1Malaysia National Day or Barisan National Day huh?

With such tall upon tweetamania, a time contingency be developed for a election since which already 3.5 million birds have come home to roost in BN nests right? Forget those 10k yellow chickens who didn't even send a twitter to their leader hah!

Congratulations for reception a endowment for being pronounced a many important twit, or you meant tweetie bird. With such a large fat bird confidence, perhaps a large blue bird feels he is going to lay lots of golden eggs from it. And a information exchnage apportion is upon such tall mode, he's counting a birds a important blue bird is going to get from a 3.5 million eggs he would lay, you can ostensible eh?

For those who know their bird well, they'd know which birds can unequivocally flint their plume to have them larger than their tangible physique size. Let's goal a large fat tweetie bird is some-more piece than flint huh?

Let's goal a people, a young especially have been able to consider rationally as well as not be swayed by notice created by a smart use of branding have idea strategy regulating taxpayer's money to remonstrate people you have been 'damn cold as well as shiok' leader eh?

MISSOULA (MONTANA): A male wearing a bushy, military-style deception fit in an strong try to impersonate a mythical quadruped bigfoot has died after being struck upon a Montana main road by two cars, military pronounced upon Tuesday.

Randy Lee Tenley, 44, was ready to go in a "ghillie" -- an outfit favored by troops snipers and diversion hunters -- and standing in a center of southbound lanes upon US Highway 93 nearby Kalispell upon Sunday when he was struck twice in discerning succession, Montana Highway Patrol spokesman Sergeant Steve Lavin said.

"From what we understand, at slightest a single of his friends pronounced which he was trying to satisfy a sasquatch sighting by using a fit along a highway," Lavin said. "This is a initial for me after twenty years upon a main road patrol. It's strange."

Tenley was initial hit by a car driven by a 15-year-old lady (15-year-olds have been allowed to expostulate in Montana with a learner's permit). A second car driven by a 17-year-old lady struck him moments after when he was already down upon a roadway, Lavin said. Police pronounced they do not know which stroke killed him.

Friends of Tenley told Mo! ntana Hi ghway Patrol guard Jim Schneider which a male had attempted a identical hoax before, but never along a highway, military said.

Bigfoot, or sasquatch, is a name given to an ape-like quadruped whose existence has never been proven. Still, some people hold a quadruped lives in forest areas in North America, quite a Pacific Northwest.

The Kalispell Army-Navy supply store sells a same kind of ghillie fit which military contend Tenley was wearing.

Credit it to the bus-a-nova

Democracy is never fully realised. At best, it's an ambition, a quest for a idea which mostly eludes a learn of a aspirants.

To revisit a reformasi movement, 14 years upon from a week of a convulsive beginnings in a sacking of Anwar Ibrahim from Umno as good as government, is to celebrate a renouned awakening though additionally to admit a difference in in between a rapture of fighting back as good as a realization in reformed as good as approved institutions.

Unfortunately, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, a alphabet of approved aspiration of a masses is noted some-more by a fragility than a fulfillment.

pkr discuss train attacked in kota bharu 1In a country, this being was underlined in jarring conform in Kota Bharu early yesterday when a windscreen of a discuss train launched by PKR a day before was smashed.

Emblazoned with a celebration trademark as good as visage of a iconic personality Anwar, a train is an American-style discuss prop whose newness is sure to pull attention.

By introducing a discuss bus, PKR have been pulling during a frontiers of approved warning in this country by employing as agitprop items hitherto put to some-more required uses.

Sporting a slogan, 'Jelajah Merdeka Rakyat' ('Journey of Emancipation'), a train was upon a 14-stop discuss of 5 states - Pahang, Kelantan, Perak, Kedah as good as Perlis - when different hoodlums hurled a hard object during a windscreen in a Kelantan capita! l, crack ing a screen in multiform places.

Reactionary forces slink in a some-more dingy folds of a democracy, though PKR are, apparently, undeterred. They said a! smashed train would be driven to a other stops in a three-day 'fly-the-flag' discuss tour.

Prevented from receiving selected media representatives upon what was a initial journey by a warding off of a Road Transport Department to accede to it a permit to carry passengers, a bus, nevertheless, was driven off to a begin in a 14-stop journey after a launch during a PKR domicile in Tropicana, Kelana Jaya, upon Friday morning.

The bus, sporting a party's trademark as good as a smiling aspect of a personality have been sure to pull renouned notice, not only for a newness as a domestic discuss tool, though additionally for a panache of a styling.
Campaign lore
Few things have been as fruitful of inspiration as approved competition in in between domestic parties. The use of a train will add to a discuss lore surrounding a 13th ubiquitous election.

This was confirmed by a minor stir a arrival caused late Friday sunrise during Taman Meranti, in Bentong, where PKR hold an Aidilfitri gathering, attended by Anwar as good as wife, Dr Wan Azizah Ismail.

NONEAnwar (right), who had only started vocalization by a train was maneuvered into a car-lined lane leading up to where a gathering was held, paused to concede a 400-odd people assembled, to consult a newness before resuming his thesis of how a accede to of independence to a Malaysian people, 55 years ago Friday, did not conduce to their genuine emancipation.

When a RTD grants permission which would concede a train to carry passengers, Anwar as good as other PKR leaders have been expected to branch towns as good as villages upon a discuss trail, using a retractable staircase as good as height from which to electioneer.

Just when a American presidential election cycle is in full f! lower, a introduction of this discuss train here in Malaysia ought to give a fillip to trends which would have a head-to-head discuss in in between a two indicate men of a competing coalitions - Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak as good as Opposition Leader Anwar - good nigh irresistible.

So distant Najib has weaseled out of a challenge to discuss Anwar, though PKR continues to think up an innovative settlement of responses to Umno-BN! 's relia nce upon a undisturbed as good as waste in discuss methods.

The setting-up of a whistleblowers' centre as good as right away a use of a stylised discuss train have been examples of this beautiful settlement which has starkly contrasted a ossified methods of Umno-BN with a newfangled strategies of a rival.
Drawn out marathon
Now, with consistent deferments to a date of a 13th ubiquitous election, a election discuss has become a drawn out marathon, a competition which goes to a steady, not a swift.

Bt Jalil Merdeka NajibPM Najib (left) contingency be thinking which an even speed as good as a great fund raiser would concede him to outlast Pakatan Rakyat as good as a battles of attrition a latter have been regularly launching.

But a transformation for change, such as reformasi which was triggered 14 years ago, can only be quenched if there is a model shift brought about possibly by a doing of a bulletin for change or by a shift in a perception of a deciders: a voting public.

Thus distant neither which bulletin for change nor a perceptual shift is discernible. That would have a quest for change even keener as time winds down upon a time to a constitutionally mandated electoral verdict.

In these straits, a chances of a innovative rsther than than a undisturbed entrance by contingency be r! ated a s ome-more rarely simply since salvation is regularly for those who never stop to strive.

MERDEKA:Can UMNO's explain which they fought for the country's autonomy mount the exam of time?

The veracity of this explain is right away hidden with doubt.

A book in bahasa, entitledAnak Merdeka, written by Haji Salleh Majid as well as published in 1991, unprotected the fallacy of this claim. The bard was no politician though an typical man who lived to declare the domestic development of this nation evolving from the 1940s to the day of Merdeka.

Early attempts to benefit independence

Early attempts to grasp autonomy were mostly unrecorded. For example, in the early 1940s as well as prior to the Japanese function of Malaya, Ishak Haji Mohammed (commonly known as Pak Sako), together with an Indonesian delegation, surreptitiously went to Japan soliciting Japanese assistance to quarrel for ! the autonomy of their respective countries. This was followed by Soekarno assembly Dr Burhanuddin Al-Helmy(right)to plan strategies for both countries' independence. Though both attempts unsuccessful for assorted reasons, the seeds of autonomy had been sowed prolonged prior to the reason up of UMNO.

Ishak Haji M! ohamad's secret outing to Japan was risky business, mouth-watering prosecution for treason, punishable by death, though such was the inventiveness of this pristine nationalist. Though he was in the colonial polite use during which time, his nationalism as well as love for the nation was never sacrificed to the colonial masters he served. In actuality it was while in Japan which the name Sako was begotten. The Japanese found it difficult to spell as well as pronounce his name Ishak, so they called him Isako. Later it became his coop name, Pak Sako.

Indonesia's independence

The autonomy of Indonesia upon 17 Aug 1945 triggered fire in the hearts of Malays of Indonesian descent. After all, Indonesia was the "motherland", distant usually by the narrow Straits of Malacca. Both were Malay lands; as well as if the single could benefit independence, why not the other? Furthermore, an eccentric Indonesia could yield moral as well as element assistance to Malays in the onslaught for independence. Thus, begun the dawn of Merdeka.

Formation of PKMM

It was not until early 1946 which Malaya's first eccentric transformation was formed. It was the domestic celebration called Parti Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya (PKMM). Its founder members were Malays of Indonesian descent, notable ! among the! m were Ahmad Boestamam as well as Musa Ahmad. The celebration published the first newspaper called Suara Rakayt during Hale Street, Ipoh. The contents were the single hundred per cent political. In no time, PKMM opened branches all over the nation with the domicile during 2 Batu Road (now Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman) Kuala Lumpur. It did not take prolonged for Pak Sako as well as Dr Burhanuddin Al-Helmy to stick upon the party.

"Merdeka!" was the nod of celebration members whenever they met. It was said in the energetic voice with clenched fist brought to the chest. Anytime as well as anywhere they met, the nod was "Merdeka!"

Formation of UMNO

T! he Unite d Malays National Organisation (UMNO) was shaped in Jun 1946, 6 months after the formation of PKMM. It was determined with the sole design of hostile the proposed Malayan Union which relegated the powers of the Malayan Rulers to the British Residents. UMNO was not an autonomy movement. In fact, it vehemently opposed autonomy as the leaders were mostly colonial polite servants who had sold their lives as well as essence to their colonial masters. Not usually was UMNO opposed to independence, the word "Merdeka"was criminialized to them. UMNO's nod was "hidup Melayu!"

Pic: UMNO's formation during Istana Johor, 1946

The alternative reason UMNO opposed autonomy was which t! he Malays! were bad as well as uneducated; left to themselves, Malaya would be the unsuccessful state.

The PKMM, upon the alternative hand, suspicion otherwise. The celebration longed for autonomy first; afterwards there would be ample opportunity to teach the Malays as the nation was abounding in healthy resources, as well as it would not be the unsuccessful state. These hostile positions widely separated the two parties as well as led to enmity.

PKMM as well as the work movement

Enhanced by the committed leaders, the PKMM was the pitch of solidarity. The spirit inside of celebration members raged like wildfire. Branches as well as bureaus were established. Apart from the youth as well as women's wings, labour, cultivation as well as eremite bureaus were established. The work business was the many active as well as many successful domestic agitator. Through it, the PKMM penetrated the Malayan work movement, which was really responsive to the former's participation as the vital conditions of the labourers during which time were deplorable. In fact, the participation of the PKMM was welcomed as well as p! rolonged awaited.

Incidentally, the Malayan work transformation had dependent itself with the universe work movement, the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), whose domicile was in Paris, as well as not with the American-controlled International Labour Organisation (ILO), whose domicile was in New York. The WFTU was leftist inclined, as well as with the Malayan work transformation dependent to it, the PKMM's penetration in to the transformation heightened British suspicion of the party.

Organised strikes

Between 1946-1948, the work move! ment was ! so active (except in Kelantan, Terengganu as well as Kedah) which intermitternt strikes roughly crippled the rubber as well as tin industries. The pier workers of Singapore as well joined in the strikes, crippling Malaya's vital port.

As expected, the British user policy of order as well as order was rught away put in to action. While pretending to admit the labourers' plight, the PKMM was spoken bootleg as well as the leaders incarcerated.

The organized strikes did not ease with the banning of the PKMM. Day by day, British economic interests were in jeopardy. The rubber as well as tin industries, the buttress of the British economy, faced imminent paralysis. By this time the colonial supervision had sent the shrill as well as transparent message to Whitehall. By this time, Whitehall realised which the autonomy of India as well as Indonesia had given procedure to Malaya to free itself from the leg irons of colonial rule. This aspiration could no longer be contained as well as earlier or after Malaya had to be given the independence.

Independence upon the china platter

The British had learnt which autonomy completed by fight not usually resulted in the detriment of reason up as well as property, though left the grudge inside of the beneficiary state, resulting in the nationalisation of the colonialists' assets. This meant the British could remove everything. So the usually choice! was for the negotiated independence. The question afterwards was who would be the British protege so which their resources would be fully stable as well as the expatriates could reason upon to their jobs the little longer.

Pic: Tunku Abdul Rahman signing the autonomy agreement in London, 1956

With PKMM criminialized as well as the leaders incarcerated, the usually organized transformation which dominated the domestic stage afterwards was UMNO, which was seen as the safe bet. Firstly, many of their leaders were British prepared as well as had embraced British culture as well as values ever given their high school days in Britain or during the Malay College Kuala Kangsar. Secondly, they were mostly the sons of the Malay rulers as well as chieftains who had been close to the British. These people had regarded the British as their icons as well as mentors as well as noticed them as their savoir.

UMNO, the opportunist

UMNO was discerning to seize the opportunity. With the adversary, the PKMM criminialized as well as driven in to oblivion, UMNO took over where the PKMM had left off. From an anti-Malayan Union organi-sation, it suddenly assumed the purpose of the force fighting for independence. The British were really comfortable with UMNO's brand new role, as well as negotiations for autonomy took off.

The negotiations which followed were especially technical as well as focussed upon two vital issues: to hope for the country's constitution as well as to agree upon the date of the stipulation of independence. A physique was formed, headed by Lord Reid, to look in to the constitution as well as the date of autonomy was agreed as 31 Aug 1957. For domestic exigency, UMNO would have to shape metal an fondness with the racial Chinese as well as Indian domestic parties, as well as hence "Perikatan" (Alliance) w! as forme d.

Pending full independence, Malaya was ruled by the Federal Legislative Council consisting of allocated members representing the assorted races as well as professions. With autonomy granted upon the china platter, the British were successful in maintaining the entire system as well as had their resources protected. For UMNO as well as the Alliance, the stipulation of autonomy was the triumphant impulse as it was completed though shedding the dump of blood.

Declaration of independence

On 31 Aug 1957, Malaya was re-reborn. As the time struck midnight, the Union Jack was lowered as well as the brand new Malayan flag was hoisted in front of the time tower conflicting the Selangor Padang. The shouts of "Merdeka!" no reduction than seven times reverberated as well as resounded in the air. The shouts were led by Tuanku Abdul Rahman, who stood upon the soap-box surrounded by his Cabinet Ministers, some of whom, I observed, were patently drunk.

The central stipulation of autonomy was held during Stadium Merdeka the subsequent morning, attended by all the Malay Rulers, the British High Commissioner as well as the part of of the Queen (Duke of Gloucester). I was there with my father as well as kin "representing" Temerloh, Pahang.

Thus, Malaya was born as an eccentric state, the part of of the British Commonwealth as well as part of of the United Nations. It was the perfection of the prolonged as well as difficult struggle, an feat won not by the prepared class, though by labourers, pier workers as well as others the downtrodden whose reason up you hardly knew.

They were the genuine fighters of Merdeka, whose actions combined the landscape for independence. Those were the people who laboured endlessly to heighten the colonial masters in return for the profession as well as who right away lay in the graves different as w! ell as f orgotten.

They were Malays, Indians, Chinese as well as others as well as they were certainly not UMNO members. They were the unsung heroes who sacrificed their lives as well as freedom for future generations, though who usually found their own freedom in the silence of their graves. It is those people who deserve to be commemorated upon 31 Aug every year as well as not "the patriots" who hoisted the jalur gemilang upon the roofs of mansions during the prestigious addresses of Kuala Lumpur or those who flew the jalur gemilang upon the roofs of their adorned cars.

To the genuine patriots as well as the fighters of independence, you suggest them our unreserved salute. As for UMNO, you usually have this to say: "Lembu punya susu, sapi dapat nama."

True Malaysians and Patriotism

September 2, 2012

Comment: The article below appeared in a Star upon Aug 21. A small dated, though it was a subject of final Friday's khutbah, which a dear friend as well as ex-Sime Darby colleague, Taib Wahab as well as you listened during Majid Al-Taqwa in a abundant Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. If there is such a thing as a domestic khutbah, a a single you listened during final Friday's prayers is certainly one.

What struck me final Friday during Majid Al-Taqwa was which a words Kerajaan (meaning UMNO) as well as Negara were used interchangeably. The implication is which if a single is vicious of, or viewed to be opposing, Kerajaan, a single is unpatriotic. Nothing can be serve than a truth.

Kerajaan is made of individual Members of Parliament from a celebration which wins a many seats in an election, as well as institutions of governance. The Leader of which celebration is afterwards invited by DYMM Yang DiPertuan Agong to form a Kerajaan. Kerajaan can shift if you as a people select to do so.

Negara is different. Malaysia is Malaysia. It is you as well as you united as a people who urge a constitution as well as oath a faithfulness to a Malay Rulers as represented by DYMM Yang Di-Pertuan Agong. As a concept, Malaysia is unchanging, nonetheless a landscape changes with socio-economic development.

If you can see a distinction, you know which you can be nationalistic yet disagree with a supervision over process as well as approach. We have been all patriots because you adore a republic as well as will put a lives upon a line to urge! a super vision as well as territorial integrity. But you might have different domestic beliefs as well as can disagree with Kerajaan of a day .

It is a fallacy to consider which Government equals UMNO-BN equals Country. We contingency mangle this habit of thoughts as well as usually afterwards you can pierce forward.Din Merican

True Malaysians as well as Patriotism

IKIM VIEWS

by Enizahura Abdul Aziz,
Senior Research Officer,
Centre for Shariah, Law as well as Politics, IKIM

IN a midst of a excitement in celebrating Aidilfitri, a single contingency not dont think about another stirring celebration Merdeka Day.

While a former rejoices a spiritual journey as well as essay in a approach of God during a month of Ramadan, a latter calls for each adult to commemorate a feeling of adore towards a republic as well as be thankful over a nation's autonomy enjoyed over a past 55 years.

Why does a country's autonomy matter? When you demeanour around us currently as well as see a physical as well as social growth which has fast taken place, you need to conclude a leisure which you have been enjoying in determining a own path as well as future.

Compare this to a incident where you could not have decisions upon what was most appropriate for us as a republic though had to succumb to a will of a colonial master. With this realisation, a clarity of appreciation contingency be demonstrated in assorted ways during a Merdeka Day celebration.

It is to illustrate needed to have in us a clever suggestion of patriotism.Patriotism is generally tangible as a feeling of adore or devotion to one's country. When you claim to be patriotic, what do you essentially me! an?

One contingency realize which being nationalistic should not be singular to usually putting up a flag or merely station up for a inhabitant anthem. The suggestion of nationalism entails a deeper reason for these actions.

Being nationalistic additionally requires a feeling of wanting what is most appropriate for a nation as well as doing things which would have a republic proud. So, when you goal for a gold medal in a Olympics, a win in an general football contest or feel generous when a initial Malaysian wanderer boarded a International Space Station, you have been essentially taking honour in a country's success.

This honour as well as goal have been a form of patriotism, as is supporting a great qualities as well as ideals of a republic as well as essay to mitigate a disastrous ones.

Patriotism additionally implies feelings of oneness as well as mutual shortcoming in between people of different ethnicities as well as eremite backgrounds. A multi-racial as well as multi-religious republic similar to Malaysia needs to find commonalities due to a differences which exist in between a assorted groups.

Therefore, by a suggestion of nationalism as well as adore for a nation, these differences can be transcended, to illustrate allowing a clever basement for consensus in between a citizens. For Malaysia, this form of oneness is central.

In Islam, being nationalistic or having a adore of one's republic is rarely encouraged.A renowned Muslim thinker as well as activist who might have been suspicion to say small about nationalism as well as nationalism was Hassan al-Banna. He coined terms similar to wataniyyat al-hanin (love for a country) as well as wataniyyat al-hurriyyah wa al 'izzah (nationalism of leisure as well as glory) to explain a ! need for nationalism as well as leisure for one's country. In Risalat al-Mu'tamar al-Khamis, he said:

"Islam enjoins upon each chairman to strive for a great of his republic as well as remove himself in a service, render utmost use to a republic (ummah) in which he lives, as well as to give dominance to reciprocity as well as neighbourliness (in acts of benevolence)."

Malaysia currently is during a connection where globalisation seems to poise an imminent hazard to a suggestion of nationalism in between a citizens. It is not a problem usually for Malaysia though additionally for many countries in a world.

As you celebrate some-more years of autonomy gained from Western colonialists, a some-more formidable it becomes to educate as well as instil a feeling of nationalism in a younger generation. This is a challenge you face today.

Compared to progressing generations in post-independent Malaysia, a later generations might not conclude a onslaught as well as hardship which took place to acquit a republic from a colonisers.

Little do they know which a country's fight for autonomy did not begin upon a discussion table in London in 1956, though was essentially a continuous onslaught of many inhabitant heroes which had begun decades before which poignant event. This is because you have been told many times to conclude what you have today.

A nationalistic suggestion contingency be instilled in a hearts as well as minds of all citizens. Serious efforts need to be taken to maintain a suggestion of nationalism generally in between youths today.

Although nationalism is an innate feeling, it is a shortcoming of assorted parties to assistance coax a adore for a country. The preparation complem! ent cont ingency be tailored to inculcate a clarity of honour as well as belonging to a nation.

It is insufficient to focus usually upon elements of nationalism in subjects similar to History as well as Nationhood Studies. Teachers additionally fool around an important purpose in educating students about a significance of a suggestion of patriotism.

NGOs too contingency fool around their roles in educating a open upon a significance of patriotism. They serve as a most appropriate bridge in between a supervision as well as a open in a polite multitude framework.

NGOs can carry out activities which have been non-partisan as well as less political. The love of republic should be above governing body as well as politicians contingency additionally accept this.

Citizens should not be dragged in to a incident where efforts to maintain nationalism in between a open have been politicised. Ultimately, true Malaysians would regularly wish a republic to sojourn peaceful as well as harmonious. Real Malaysians would ensure which a down payment in between associate adults remains clever as well as intact.

It is adore for a republic which binds a people together. As Malaysians, you should be unapproachable of what a republic has completed in 55 years.

Nonetheless, for Malaysia to turn a clever as well as developed nation, most some-more needs to be done. Malaysians from all walks of hold up should understand which nurturing nationalism is not only a shortcoming of a supervision of a day, though additionally a collective endeavour of all who do it for a adore of a country.

True Malaysians and Patriotism

September 2, 2012

Comment: The essay next appeared in the Star upon Aug 21. A small dated, though it was the topic of final Friday's khutbah, which the dear friend, Taib Wahab as well as you listened during Majid Al-Taqwa, in the affluent Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. If there is the domestic khutbah, the a single you listened during Friday's prayer is certainly. Listened intensely as you have been required to do.

What struck me final Friday during Majid Al-Taqwa was which the difference Kerajaan (meaning UMNO) as well as Negara were used interchangeably. The import is which if the single is vicious of or perceived to be opposing Kerajaan, the single is unpatriotic. Nothing can be serve than the truth.

Kerajaan is made of particular Members of Parliament from the jubilee which wins the most seats in an election. The Leader of which jubilee is then invited by DYMM Yang DiPertuan Agong to form the Kerajaan. Kerajaan can shift if the people select to do so. Negara is different. Malaysia is Malaysia. It is you as well as you united as people who uphold the constitution as well as pledge the faithfulness to the Malay Rulers as represented by DYMM Yang Di-Pertuan Agong.

If you can see the distinction, you know which you can be nationalistic to the republic yet disagree with the supervision over process as well as approach. We have been all patriots because you adore the republic as well as put the lives upon the line to defend the supervision as well as territorial integrity. But you might have opposite domestic beliefs as well as disagree with Kerajaan. It is the fallacy to think which Gov! ernment equals UMNO-BN equals Country. We contingency mangle this habit of mind.Din Merican

True Malaysians as well as Patriotism

IKIM VIEWS

by Enizahura Abdul Aziz,
Senior Research Officer,
Centre for Shariah, Law as well as Politics, IKIM

IN the surrounded by of the fad in celebrating Aidilfitri, the single contingency not dont think about an additional stirring jubilee Merdeka Day. While the former rejoices the devout journey as well as essay in the approach of God during the month of Ramadan, the latter calls for each citizen to commemorate the feeling of adore towards the republic as well as be thankful over the nation's independence enjoyed over the past 55 years.

Why does the country's independence matter? When you demeanour around us currently as well as see the physical as well as social growth which has rapidly taken place, you need to conclude the leisure which you have been enjoying in last the own path as well as future.

Compare this to the incident where you could not make decisions upon what was most appropriate for us as the republic though had to stoop to the will of the colonial master. With this realisation, the clarity of high regard contingency be demonstrated in assorted ways during the Merdeka Day celebration.

It is to illustrate needed to have in us the strong spirit of patriotism.Patriotism is in all tangible as the feeling of adore or friendship to one's country. When you explain to be patriotic, what do you essentially mean?

One contingency realize which being nationalistic should not be limited to usually putting up the flag or merely station up for the national anthem. The spirit of nationalism entails the deeper reason for these actions.

Being nationalistic additionally requires ! the feel ing of wanting what is most appropriate for the nation as well as doing things which would make the republic proud. So, when you hope for the gold award in the Olympics, the win in an general football contest or feel generous when the initial Malaysian astronaut boarded the International Space Station, you have been essentially taking honour in the country's success.

This honour as well as hope have been the form of patriotism, as is supporting the great qualities as well as ideals of the republic as well as essay to mitigate the disastrous ones.

Patriotism additionally implies feelings of oneness as well as mutual shortcoming between people of opposite ethnicities as well as religious backgrounds. A multi-racial as well as multi-religious republic similar to Malaysia needs to find commonalities due to the differences which exist between the assorted groups.

Therefore, through the spirit of nationalism as well as adore for the nation, these differences can be transcended, to illustrate allowing the strong basement for accord between the citizens. For Malaysia, this form of oneness is central.

In Islam, being nationalistic or having the adore of one's republic is rarely encouraged.A eminent Muslim thinker as well as activist who might have been suspicion to say small about nationalism as well as nationalism was Hassan al-Banna. He coined conditions similar to wataniyyat al-hanin (love for the country) as well as wataniyyat al-hurriyyah wa al 'izzah (nationalism of leisure as well as glory) to explain the need for nationalism as well as leisure for one's country. In Risalat al-Mu'tamar al-Khamis, he said:

"Islam enjoins upon each chairman to essay for the great of his republic as well as lose himself in the service, render utmost use to the republ! ic ( ummah) in which he lives, as well as to give precedence to kinship as well as neighbourliness (in acts of benevolence)."

Malaysia currently is during the juncture where globalisation seems to poise an approaching hazard to the spirit of nationalism between the citizens. It is not the complaint usually for Malaysia though additionally for most countries in the world.

As you celebrate more years of independence gained from Western colonialists, the more formidable it becomes to teach as well as instil the feeling of nationalism in the younger generation. This is the plea you face today.

Compared to earlier generations in post-independent Malaysia, the after generations might not conclude the onslaught as well as hardship which took place to acquit the republic from the colonisers.

Little do they know which the country's quarrel for independence did not begin upon the contention list in London in 1956, though was essentially the continuous onslaught of most national heroes which had started decades before which significant event. This is because you have been told most times to conclude what you have today.

A nationalistic spirit contingency be instilled in the hearts as well as minds of all citizens. Serious efforts need to be taken to maintain the spirit of nationalism especially between youths today.

Although nationalism is an inherited feeling, it is the shortcoming of assorted parties to help coax the adore for the country. The preparation system contingency be tailored to introduce the clarity of honour as well as belonging to the nation.

It is insufficient to concentration usually upon elements of nationalism in subjects similar to History as well as Nationhood Studies. Teachers additionally fool a! round an important role in educating students about the importance of the spirit of patriotism.

NGOs as well contingency fool around their purposes in educating the open upon the importance of patriotism. They serve as the most appropriate overpass between the supervision as well as the open in the polite multitude framework.

NGOs can lift out activities which have been non-partisan as well as reduction political. The love of republic should be on top of politics as well as politicians contingency additionally accept this.

Citizens should not be dragged in to the incident where efforts to maintain nationalism between the open have been politicised. Ultimately, loyal Malaysians would always wish the republic to remain peaceful as well as harmonious. Real Malaysians would safeguard which the down payment between associate adults remains strong as well as intact.

It is adore for the republic which binds the people together. As Malaysians, you should be proud of what the republic has completed in 55 years.

Nonetheless, for Malaysia to become the strong as well as developed nation, much more needs to be done. Malaysians from all walks of life should understand which nurturing nationalism is not only the shortcoming of the supervision of the day, though additionally the collective attempt of all who do it for the adore of the country.

Kenapa tiada tepuk-sorak pertumbuhan 5.4%?

(Harakahdaily)

(Pertumbuhan 5.1 peratus dicapai separuh pertama 2012-annualised)

Penarafan kewangan awam Malaysia pada tahap A as well as BBB mesti diperbaikki, tegas Fitch kepada kerajaan Malaysia.

Indonesia 38%, Thailand 53%, Singapura 105% tetapi Malaysia 140% !

Jangan sampai dipanggil orang tiga suku pulak ya!

Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad adalah anggota Parlimen Kuala Selangor ! dan Ketu a Eksekutif Pusat Penyelidikan PAS.

Merdeka 55: Malaysians' political awakening and CHALLENGE to BN rule?

Merdeka 55: Malaysians' domestic awakening as well as CHALLENGE to BN rule?
All you listened as well as saw a final couple of weeks streamer in to a Independence Day were squabbles, open spats over Twitter, Facebook as well as pristine disgust. And simply since a supervision has tried, in each probable approach to hijack Merdeka Day.
Its Janji Ditepati or Promises Fulfilled aphorism is pristine propaganda, crafted to send a clever election summary to a people as a republic gears towards what's many likely to be a many fiercely-fought polls ever.
Dissatisfaction over a government's preference of slogans, logos as well as song clearly signals a pointy divisions in a society as Malaysia celebrates a 55 years of independence.
These have been not a only issues you have been concerned about.
A gutless democracy, taste opposite women as well as children, racism, curbing of civil liberties, trampling of human rights, prevalent crime as well as a supervision which would hook or amend each law as well as put up with in a unwashed electoral process to stay in energy have been what a republic is gripped with now.
Organizing a glitzy eventuality during Bukit Jalil for budding ministerNajibRazak as well as his cabinet, civil servants as well as comparison others won't make dire problems in a republic disappear.
Just days prior to Merdeka Day, you saw a repeat of a court statute which repelled a public. A 21-year-old man who had raped a 12-year-old child escaped a prison term. This is a second case in weeks where an additional perpetrator walked free. In both cases, a court ruled which both group had good future as well as a a! cts were consensual.
This is outrageous. It sets a bad fashion as well as has failed to look in to a welfare of a victims.
Proof of corruption
Over a final couple of months, a quarrel for energy has clever in a country. Whistle blowers were penalized. Corrupt politicians walked giveaway despite clever explanation of crime amounting to billions of dollars as well as antithesis leaders have been targeted in smear campaigns to mangle a increasing await for Pakatan Rakyat.
Political sermon in a republic is almost non-existent as well as statute politicians have been happy to use divergent tactics as well as passageway for liquid governing body centering around a in isolation lives of antithesis leaders.
While a second quarter GDP expansion of 5.1% has astounded even supervision optimists, this surge was mostly due to pump priming of a economy. But can a supervision go on to maneuver a economy, if there is an additional downturn brought about by external factors, given a huge spending on mega projects as well as money handouts ahead of a polls?
If all this is not enough, you have government-backed H2O concessionaire Syabas prolongation a H2O crisis to reason a opposition-led Selangor supervision hostage in order to force a state to agree to building a H2O treatment plant which would cost Malaysians billions of dollars.
Our stand is which there have been alternative dire problems like Syabas looking during ways to reduce a amount of H2O wastage lost to leakage as well as theft, which is about a third of sum production.
Busy scheming
While a supervision is bustling shaping as well as trying to devise new strategies to hoodwink a people, including regulating a Merdeka Day as a bait, it has failed to comprehend which Malaysians have been becoming politically some-more vocal.
The thousands of people who turned up during Datar! anMerdek a in yellow t-shirts to uncover await for Bersih, a bloc demanding giveaway as well as satisfactory elections, as well as alternative groups is a clear pointer which Malaysians will not concede a supervision to put up with in shade play.
And a success of a criticism is a signal which as Malaysia enters a 55th year of independence a society, no make a difference what a supervision says, is sufficiently mature to reason peaceful domestic rallies. It also illustrates which a society is politically awakened to safeguard their final have been met.
And this is what Najib as well as his supervision contingency recollect on this ancestral day.

JB highway takeover: Another scam to DIVERT public money to Umno cronies?

JB main road takeover: Another fraud to DIVERT open income to Umno cronies?
PKR has welcomed a takeover of Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL) main road in Johor Baharu, saying it was explanation that Pakatan Rakyat's Orange Book policies have been 'implementable'.
However, a party's vital director Rafizi Ramli cautioned that it might be an attempt to divert open supports to "Pakatan Rakyat"-BN related cronies.
"I am disturbed that a takeover is just an additional trick to siphon people's income to companies tighten to "Pakatan Rakyat"-BN as a EDL concessionaire is MRCB that is tighten to "Pakatan Rakyat"," he pronounced in a statement today.
He pointed out that budding minister Najib Razak had lately been striking people's income to squeeze resources as well as concessionaires of "Pakatan Rakyat" cronies amounting to billions of ringgit.
"Prior to this, a 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) tranquil by Najib purchased dual independent energy producers tranquil by Genting as well as Ananda Krishnan at an exorbitant price of RM7 billion. The dual commercial operation have been mostly related to "Pakatan Rakyat"-BN," he added.
Rafizi pronounced a exchange were done secretly, as well as but check as well as change to ensure that investments were beneficial to a public.
He urged PR leaders to concentration upon mobilising a people to direct Najib to name destiny highways as well as concessionaires noted for takeover, as well as for a arrangement of a name committee to ensure transparency as well as fairness in purchases of vital resources from companies of interest.
Rafizi however pronounced a EDL takeover vi! ndicated a principle of economic management summarized in PR's Orange Book that emphasised upon people's welfare as well as ways to increasing disposable income among citizens.

MERDEKA not BN's: The milk came from the cow BUT it's the butter that get's the name

MERDEKA not BN's: The divert came from a cow BUT it's a butter which get's a name
55th MERDEKA Can UMNO's explain which they fought for a country's autonomy mount a test of time? The veracity of this explain is right away shrouded with doubt. A book inBahasa(Malay language), entitled Anak Merdeka, written by Haji Salleh Majid as well as published in 1991, exposed a fallacy of this claim.
The author was no politician though an ordinary man who lived to declare a domestic growth of this nation elaborating from a 1940s to a day of Merdeka.
Early attempts to benefit independence
Early attempts to achieve autonomy were often unrecorded. For example, in a early 1940s as well as prior to a Japanese occupation of Malaya, Ishak Haji Mohammed (commonly known as Pak Sako), together with an Indonesian delegation, surreptitiously went to Japan soliciting Japanese assistance to fight for a autonomy of their respective countries. This was followed by Soekarno meeting Dr Burhanuddin Al-Helmy (right) to devise strategies for both countries' independence. Though both attempts unsuccessful for various reasons, a seeds of autonomy had been sowed prolonged prior to a life of UMNO.
Ishak Haji Mohamad's secret trip to Japan was risky business, mouth-watering prosecution for treason, punishable by death, though such was a dexterity of this pristine nationalist. Though he was in a colonial civil use during which time, his patriotism as well as love for a nation was never sacrificed to a colonial masters he served. In actuality it was while in Japan which a name Sako was begotten. The Japanese found it difficult to spell as we! ll as cl arify his name Ishak, so they called him Isako. Later it became his coop name, Pak Sako.
Indonesia's independence
The autonomy of Indonesia upon 17 Aug 1945 triggered glow in a hearts of Malays of Indonesian descent. After all, Indonesia was a "motherland", separated usually by a narrow Straits of Malacca. Both were Malay lands; as well as if a single could benefit independence, why not a other? Furthermore, an eccentric Indonesia could yield moral as well as material assistance to Malays in a onslaught for independence. Thus, started a emergence of Merdeka.
Formation of PKMM
It was not until early 1946 which Malaya's initial eccentric transformation was formed. It was a domestic celebration called Parti Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya (PKMM). Its owner members were Malays of Indonesian descent, important among them were Ahmad Boestamam as well as Musa Ahmad. The celebration published a initial journal called Suara Rakayt during Hale Street, Ipoh. The contents were a single hundred per cent political. In no time, PKMM non-stop branches all over a nation with a domicile during 2 Batu Road (now Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman) Kuala Lumpur. It did not take prolonged for Pak Sako as well as Dr Burhanuddin Al-Helmy to join a party.
"Merdeka!" was a nod of celebration members whenever they met. It was said in a spirited voice with clenched fist brought to a chest. Anytime as well as anywhere they met, a nod was "Merdeka!"
Formation of UMNO
The United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) was shaped in Jun 1946, 6 months after a arrangement of PKMM. It was established with a solitary design of hostile a due Malayan Union which relegated a powers of a Malayan Rulers to a Brit! ish Resi dents. UMNO was not an autonomy movement. In fact, it vehemently against autonomy as a leaders were often colonial civil servants who had sole their lives as well as essence to their colonial masters. Not usually was UMNO against to independence, a word "Merdeka"was criminialized to them. UMNO's nod was "hidup Melayu!"
The other reason UMNO against autonomy was which a Malays were poor as well as uneducated; left to themselves, Malaya would be a unsuccessful state.
The PKMM, upon a other hand, thought otherwise. The celebration wanted autonomy first; afterwards there would be plenty event to educate a Malays as a nation was abounding in natural resources, as well as it would not be a unsuccessful state. These hostile positions divided a dual parties as well as led to enmity.
PKMM as well as a work movement
Enhanced by a committed leaders, a PKMM was a symbol of solidarity. The suggestion inside of celebration members raged similar to wildfire. Branches as well as bureaus were established. Apart from a girl as well as women's wings, labour, agriculture as well as eremite bureaus were established. The work business was a many active as well as many successful domestic agitator. Through it, a PKMM penetrated a Malayan work movement, which was really manageable to a former's presence as a living conditions of a labourers during which time were deplorable. In fact, a presence of a PKMM was welcomed as well as prolonged awaited.
Incidentally, a Malayan work transformation had dependent itself with a universe work movement, a World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), whose domicile was in Paris, as well as not with a American-controlled International Labour Organisation (ILO), whose domicile was in New York. The WFTU was revolutionary inclined, as well as with a Malayan work transformation dependent to it, a PKMM's invasion in to a transformation heightened British guess of a party.
Org! anised s trikes
Between 1946-1948, a work transformation was so active (except in Kelantan, Terengganu as well as Kedah) which intermitternt strikes roughly crippled a rubber as well as tin industries. The pier workers of Singapore too joined in a strikes, crippling Malaya's vital port.
As expected, a British user process of order as well as order was immediately put in to action. While pretending to admit a labourers' plight, a PKMM was spoken illegal as well as a leaders incarcerated.
The organized strikes did not palliate with a banning of a PKMM. Day by day, British economic interests were in jeopardy. The rubber as well as tin industries, a buttress of a British economy, faced approaching paralysis. By this time a colonial supervision had sent a shrill as well as transparent message to Whitehall. By this time, Whitehall realised which a autonomy of India as well as Indonesia had given procedure to Malaya to giveaway itself from a leg irons of colonial rule. This end could no longer be contained as well as earlier or later Malaya had to be given a independence.
Independence upon a china platter
The British had learnt which autonomy achieved by war not usually resulted in a detriment of life as well as property, though left a grudge inside of a customer state, resulting in a nationalisation of a colonialists' assets. This meant a British could remove everything. So a usually choice was for a negotiated independence. The question afterwards was who would be a British protege so which their resources would be fully stable as well as a expatriates could hold upon to their jobs a little longer.
With PKMM criminialized as well as a leaders incarcerated, a usually organized transformation which dominated a domestic stage afterwards was UMNO, which was seen as a protected bet. Firstly, many of their leaders were British prepared as well as had embraced British enlightenment as well as valu! es ever since their high school days in Britain or during a Malay College Kuala Kangsar. Secondly, they were often a sons of a Malay rulers as well as chieftains who had been close to a British. These people had regarded a British as their icons as well as mentors as well as viewed them as their savoir.
UMNO, a opportunist
UMNO was quick to seize a opportunity. With a adversary, a PKMM criminialized as well as driven in to oblivion, UMNO took over where a PKMM had left off. From an anti-Malayan Union organi-sation, it unexpected assumed a purpose of a force fighting for independence. The British were really comfortable with UMNO's brand brand new role, as well as negotiations for autonomy took off.
The negotiations which followed were especially technical as well as focussed upon dual vital issues: to prepare a country's constitution as well as to agree upon a date of a stipulation of independence. A body was formed, headed by Lord Reid, to look in to a constitution as well as a date of autonomy was agreed as 31 Aug 1957. For domestic exigency, UMNO would have to forge an fondness with a ethnic Chinese as well as Indian domestic parties, as well as hence "Perikatan" (Alliance) was formed.
Pending full independence, Malaya was ruled by a Federal Legislative Council consisting of allocated members representing a various races as well as professions. With autonomy granted upon a china platter, a British were successful in retaining a entire complement as well as had their resources protected. For UMNO as well as a Alliance, a stipulation of autonomy was a triumphant impulse as it was achieved but shedding a dump of blood.
Declaration of independence
On 31 Aug 1957, Malaya was re-reborn. As a time struck midnight, a Union Jack was lowered as well as a brand brand new Malayan flag was hoisted in front of a time tower opposite a Selangor Padang. The shouts of "Merdeka!" no re! duction than 7 times reverberated as well as resounded in a air. The shouts were led by Tuanku Abdul Rahman, who stood upon a soap-box surrounded by his Cabinet Ministers, a little of whom, I observed, were patently drunk.
The central stipulation of autonomy was hold during Stadium Merdeka a next morning, attended by all a Malay Rulers, a British High Commissioner as well as a part of of a Queen (Duke of Gloucester). I was there with my father as well as kin "representing" Temerloh, Pahang.
Thus, Malaya was innate as an eccentric state, a part of of a British Commonwealth as well as part of of a United Nations. It was a culmination of a prolonged as well as difficult struggle, an achievement won not by a prepared class, though by labourers, pier workers as well as others a downtrodden whose life you frequency knew.
They were a genuine fighters of Merdeka, whose actions combined a landscape for independence. Those were a people who laboured endlessly to heighten a colonial masters in return for a pittance as well as who right away lay in a graves unknown as well as forgotten.
They were Malays, Indians, Chinese as well as others as well as they were positively not UMNO members. They were a unsung heroes who sacrificed their lives as well as leisure for future generations, though who usually found their own leisure in a silence of their graves. It is those people who deserve to be commemorated upon 31 Aug each year as well as not "the patriots" who hoisted a jalur gemilang upon a roofs of mansions during a prestigious addresses of Kuala Lumpur or those who flew a jalur gemilang upon a roofs of their adorned cars.
To a genuine patriots as well as a fighters of independence, you offer them our unreserved salute. As for UMNO, you usually have this to say: "Lembu punya susu, sapi dapat nama."

THE UNDERCURRENT FAVOURS MUSA AMAN

By : SELVARAJA SOMIAH

THE SABAH State Assembly elections or a 13th General Elections will be held prior to March/April 2013. The state is witnessing a domestic undertow in foster of Chief Minister Musa Aman. However, his critics as well as an researcher like Karim Gani stoutly argue opposite such a claim. Karim says, "Musa's glamour might be there, though there is no undertow in foster of Musa."

Here have been some pointers favoring Musa Aman:

# Undoubtedly, there is no domestic personality in Sabah who has been as renouned as Musa Aman since a inception in 1963. Musa Aman had charmed a bad as well as Natives, his change is not limited in UMNO pockets.

Shafie Apdal is, largely, a Suluk personality as well as Lajim Ukin is, largely, a Bisaya leader. Both have theirs pockets of influence, though nothing could match Musa's clout over immature minds as well as men as well as women be it in a civic areas or even rural.

In a final 5 years, after appropriating a Best Chief Minister's title, Musa has calibrated his communication with people through a language of development. That has clicked with people since a subtext of his action says which underneath Musa's order we could have money as well as have a comfortable life though most political, village or amicable disturbances.

There is stupidity in crediting Musa Aman for each great thing function in Sabah. In a final 5 years, a rain! s have b een good, a KLSE is zooming up, rural income is booming as well as genuine estate is making middle-class family groups millionaires. Many middle-class electorate contend "Musa's order is auspicious."

This shows which people have been ready to re-elect Musa Aman. In his statewide encounter a people sessions, men, women as well as youngsters gather to see him. Their faces elicit emotions. They demeanour pleased to see their leader. The propinquity of certitude in in in between Musa Aman as well as his fans is certainly there.
In Sabah's domestic circles, DAP as well as SAPP contest in a civic areas. Traditionally, they conflict each alternative with reprisal during choosing time as seen in a final Batu Sapi Parliamentary by-elections.

So is Datuk Pairin as well as Dr Jeffrey Kitingan both fighting tooth as well as nail for a inland KDM votes, nonetheless Pairin during this impulse of time has stillgot a numbers, though a dwindling. Musa knows this, Musa additionally knows Pairin is loyal, Musa additionally knows Pairin is "HUGUAN SIOU" to a KDMs as well as when pull come to force KDMs will still chuck their await to their Paramount Leader.

Musa has transcended domestic adversary as well as is expected to order them successfully.

Then in Beaufort, as soon as Lajim Ukin declared Musa his enemy, Bisayas as well as Kadayans suspicion why strengthen Lajim by backing UMNO rebels? The Former Umno autarchic council part of Lajim Ukin says he will set up a brand brand brand brand new domestic celebration as a car to field candidates in a arriving general election.

Lajim, had recently voiced his abdication as an Umno autarchic council member, Beaufort Umno division arch as well as Beaufort BN authority with evident effect as well as declared his await for Pakatan though remained an Umno member.

So funny, peo! ple have been not stupid, Lajim wants to have his baked sweat bread as well as wants to eat it too. Like this, softened to certitude Musa Aman, a village leaders, both Bisayas as well as Kadayans argued. The Lajim stance is a usually puzzling cause as well as will be known usually after elections.

When a Pakatan argues which Musa's caring is not as most identified with a poor, locals as with urban, center category as well as upwardly mobile electorate of small towns, it is utterly unbelievable.

But a single can't ignore a actuality which currently is Musa moment.

# Musa's pluses as well as minuses have been a usually articulate points of this election. Musa, being a gifted as well as cunning choosing strategist, has written a role for himself as well as has won not usually his celebration though has prisoner a minds of UMNO leaders in Kuala Lumpur as well as a Prime Minister himself too.

This is a amazing cause of this entrance election.

The entrance 13 General Elections in Sabah will be known as a Musa contra Musa election. Musa Aman is in a bridgehead offered his own virtues, while Pakatan Rakyat as well as all a alternative wannabe antithesis parties in Sabah is relocating in lanes as well as bylanes of Sabah highlighting Musa's vices, weaknesses as well as lies.

People have been asked to opinion for Musa's virtues or opposite Musa's lies. Right right away a Musa magic works. Musa has staunchly identified himself with Sabah as Pairin did with Sabah in a 1985.

He is raising informal parochialism to brand brand brand brand new heights by negotiating with a Federal Government for aloft oil kingship for a state, removing a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) upon a illegal immigrant to be conducted quickly prior to a 13th general elections. In actuality according to LITTLE BIRD when Premi! er Najib comes to Sabah tomorrow 1st September 2012, Najib will announce as well as increase in oil kingship for Sabah.

we do not know for certain how most percent though definitely a starting to be some-more than 10%. This is definitely starting to emanate startle ways if what LITTLE BIRD told me comes true.

# In as well as around Tawau, as well as alternative coastal areas in a easterly seashore a vast territory of electorate hold which during a Musa supervision they have remained free of Abu Sayyaf as well as kidnappings. Absence of abduction means some-more tourism associated growth as well as some-more assent of thoughts for fishermen as safety as well as security is well taken caring of. People here contend "Musa means growth though fear."

On alternative hand, antithesis voters, quite civic antithesis electorate additionally acknowledge which when Musa is in a CM seat, it means, "Miscreant is a monitor of a class" as well as which guarantees assent in Sabah.

Musa unlike a progressing governments has successfully foiled all a abduction in a easterly seashore of Sabah. This argument is appreciated by average people as well as they contend previous governments were not been able to stop a kidnappings by Abu Sayyaf in a easterly coast.

# The Musa supervision has combined a "feel good" cause by giving physical phenomenon supply to most homes in Sabah. There is a critical disproportion in in in between a 2003 situation as well as now. Of course there is still energy cuts though a not as bad as what it was prior to 2003.

Musa has succeeded in setting up brand brand brand brand new energy plants as well as have changed infrastructure fundamentals vast time. Now with a setting up of Kimanis RM1.5bil gas-fired plant a 300MW energy plant to address a energy supply issue in a state, things will get even better.
!
Now, a vast series of people do mention which a supervision has given them uninterrupted electricity. For Musa Aman, whatever great supervision or a wings have finished in a name of growth is to one side credited to "Musa" as well as is assisting him to connect to people during this crucial time.

# In final 5 years, even a supply complement of celebration H2O has improved. Kampongs do have reliable complement of H2O supply, now.

A vast series of kampong people contend they have a daub in their homes for a initial time in their family history.

Again, there have been problems in most areas. In some place a H2O supplied by supervision is not of great peculiarity as well as during most places H2O is stored in tanks. But, there is obvious improvement in a complete celebration H2O system.

# One of a most corrupt sectors of any state supervision is regularly a public functions department. Sabah is no different, though in a final nine years after Musa Aman took assign of a state, a lot of work has been finished as well as things pierce most faster right away as most corrupted officials have been removed.

The peculiarity of brand brand brand brand new roads in a interiors as well as kampongs have improved.

Musa is obviously not bluffing when he says, "I am not corrupt, we do not allow corruption".

Barisan National is visibly cash-rich.

Money plays an important role in a hype through mass-communication as well as in a craft of building of domestic perceptions for use of a media. But, still, a actuality is which people have been in a mood to hold which Musa Aman is not corrupt. In this election, his purify image will give him most marks.

# There have been multiform reasons why Barisan National will do well in S! abah aga in this entrance 13th General Elections nonetheless Musa's supervision had reached a rise of removing 59 out of a 60 state seats in a 2008 elections.

Musa Aman though any doubt is pro-reforms as well as a assuage ruler. He has continued assisting a underneath absolved as well as poor. He has even helped single mothers as well as has asked his administration department to give them training. Now, trained widows have been removing work as well as even removing pension.

There have been most such situations where Musa has combined brand brand brand brand new programs as well as projects for a bad as well as a underprivileged.

His penchant to give accede to brand brand brand brand new education institutes is appreciated, he gives accede to self-finance education bodies as well as schools which plan to run upon supervision grants.

As a outcome a inland people do not have to pay for uniforms shoes as well as text books for their school starting children. Even milk as well as free food have been supplied to these inland young kids in a interiors.

So a altogether thrustis such which Musa will measure points.

The hidden amicable fight of upper/middle category contra a bad people is receiving a brand brand brand brand new direction in Sabah. Musa is benefiting out of it.

He has successfully combined hype over his amicable schemes.

The re-gazette of 183,000 hectares of Class 2 Commercial Forests into Class 1 Protection Forests to expand a expanse of totally stable forests in a state is another issue largely starting in his favour.

The longing for timberland insurance in a state is so intense by Musa Aman which a story about him cutting all a joist as well as corruption is not removing people's courtesy since they know a all ! lies to disprove him.

The e-government is a pet theme of Musa as well as a help in systemising land records does have an impact upon a people. The Communal Titles a brainchild of Musa Aman, a pierce to issue village land titles to resolve ownership woes in between a inland people has paid off.It has ensured which inland people receive a land they had artistic or lived in for generations. It is additionally a way to safeguard which land owned by a locals could not be sold off.

To repeat upon a broader level, Musa is offered dreams in kampongs as well as towns where his growth has reached as well as where his economic thinking is assisting inland people to improve their lives.

The antithesis has countered his try to sell starry ideas, though his glamour as well as a large growth seen receiving place all over a state attempts to control a damage of robust antithesis in most places.

While in civic areas Musa's suggest to have a "Developed Sabah" is clicking with people who adore a multi-fold appreciation of their stock, homes as well as land prices.

If we demeanour during a emotional connection in in in between Musa as well as his assembly in his statewide encounter a people sessions, it is easy to predict which Musa is all set to win again.

Even Premier Najib recently in Bongawan was tender by Musa's performance, both as Umno head as well as arch minister as well as he complimented, "Musa is you do an glorious pursuit leading a celebration as well as a state government."
