"Ini semua wayang yang dimainkan Umno BN. Selesai suruhanjaya nanti, ada pula alasan-alasan tak munasabah daripada hasil pendengaran itu.

"Mengikut orang Sabah sendiri, mereka tidak percaya angka yang diberikan SPR kerana rekod yang dikemukakan bukan yang terkini. Daripada awal sudah nampak kekeliruan," katanya ketika dihubungi.

Dalam pendengaran itu semalam, JPN memberitahu RCI, hanya 66,682 warga asing di negeri itu diberikan kewarganegaraan sejak pembentukan Malaysia.

Angka tersebut, kata Timbalan Pengarah Bahagian Kewarganegaraan JPN, Nik Norashikin Nik Mansur, dikumpulkan dalam tempoh 50 tahun bermula 1963 hingga Oktober 2012.

"Mereka hanya bagi sejumlah angka, bukannya berdasarkan tahun supaya ia nampak terperinci. Saya gesa Umno BN supaya memberikan angka terkini supaya rakyat tidak! lagi di tipu.

Dzulkifly juga memberitahu, lebih 100,000 surat beranak dikeluarkan bagi pendatang pada awal tahun 1990an.

Ibu bapa pakai baju BERSIH terima bantuan RM100

Sekumpulan ibu bapa menarik perhatian umum apabila tampil ke sekolah petang semalam untuk menerima bantuan persekolahan RM100 dengan memakai baju berwarna kuning sempena perhimpunan BERSIH 3.0.

Tindakan sekumpulan fifteen ibu bapa pelajar itu turut menjadi buah mulut di laman sosial hari ini apabila gambar mereka dengan pakaian berkenaan dimuatkan oleh pengguna.


Seorang daripadanya Wong Chai Soon ketika dihubungi Malaysiakini hari ini berkata, beliau bertindak demikian untuk menyatakan bahawa mereka bukan menerima bantuan itu dengan senang hati.

"Sebenarnya saya memakai baju BERSIH untuk menarik perhatian pihak berkuasa bahawa (apakah) dengan pemberian wang ini membuatkan kita perlu tunduk, bersetuju dan senang hati.

"Sebaliknya, saya menerimanya dengan hati risau dan ! memikirkan mengenai keadaan negara kita pada masa akan datang," kata Wong Chai Soon yang menerima bantuan tersebut di SMJK(C) Chan di Seremban semalam.

Wong, 45, berkata sekumpulan ibu bapa lain turut memakai baju kuning pada majlis tersebut.

"Saya hanya menerima SMS. Ini inisiatif daripada kawan. Saya hanya terima SMS dan majukan kepada kawan lain. Kawan di pejabat saya joke saya suruh pakai baju kuning. Saya sendiri pakai baju BERSIH," katanya.

Ditanya mengenai reaksi ibu bapa dan guru sewaktu kumpulan mereka memakai baju tersebut, Wong yang bekerja sebagai jurulatih kursus kewangan berkata para guru berkenaan menunjukkan reaksi "biasa dan tidak marah".

"Ada yang pandang-pandang, ada yang tegur-tegur. Yang mana saya kenal, mereka bersetuju. Guru bersikap biasa sahaja. Mungkin mereka penat layan orang... Mereka biasa sahaja," katanya.

Sekumpulan ibu pelajar yang menggelarkan diri mereka sebagai 'BERSIH Mama' mempromosi tindakan itu melalui satu kenyataan kepada media semalam.

Mereka menggesa para ibu bapa menggunakan kesempatan ketika menerima wang bantuan tersebut untuk menuntut pilihan raya bersih dan adil.

"Pada masa ini, apa yang paling diperlukan rakyat di negara ini bukanlah bantuan kewangan RM100, RM250 atau RM500.

"Jika negara ini tiada pilihan raya bersih dan adil, tujuan sebenar pilihan raya tidak akan dicapai dan negara ini tidak akan menjadi benar-benar demokratik untuk memilih wakil yang diingini rakyat," kenyataan itu dipetik.

Mengenai Perak yang dirampas Umno BN yang diketuai Najib sejak Februari 2009, Daim melihat agak sukar untuk Umno BN kekal di negeri itu.

Sementara Kelantan dan Pulau Pinang, Daim yakin Pakatan Rakyat akan terus memerintah di kedua-dua negeri itu. Menjelang PRU 8 MAc 2008, Daim pernah meramalkan Umno BN akan kalah di ! Kelantan , Terengganu, Kedah, Selangor dan Pulau Pinang, namun tiada siapa melihat dengan serius ramalan beliau.

KUALA LUMPUR: Menteri Besar Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim berkata Kerajaan Persekutuan merupakan pemain utama dalam operasi Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas).

Katanya, kerajaan pusat melalui Menteri Kewangan Incorporated memiliki 'Golden Share' dalam Syabas, yang membolehkan mereka berkuasa mutlak membuat keputusan dalam syarikat pemegang konsesi air di Selangor itu.

Manakala, anak syarikat Kerajaan Negeri, Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) pula katanya hanya memiliki 30 peratus pegangan saham di dalam Syabas dan ini terhad kepada perwakilan dalam lembaga pengarahnya sahaja.

"Selain Kerajaan Negeri melalui KDEB, terdapat satu pemilik saham yang istimewa iaitu 'golden share'.

"Dan (ia) mempunyai semua kuasa dan bertanggungjawab terhadap sesuatu keputusan yang dibuat Syabas," katanya ketika sidang media di Bangunan Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri semalam.

Kerajaan Negeri Selangor kini menuntut kerjasama pusat bagi membuat penstrukturan semula air di negeri itu dan mengambilnya semula dari Syabas.

Mereka mendakwa masalah air di Selangor dapat diatasi jika pengurusan itu diserahkan sepenuhnya kepada kerajaan negeri dan bukan lagi kepada syarikat konsesi Syabas yang diberikan ketika zaman Umno BN memerintah.

Sehingga kini Kerajaan Negeri masih menunggu jawapan dari Kerajaan Pusat berhubung isu pengambilalihan pengurusan air daripada Syabas itu.

Sebelum ini Menteri Tenaga, Teknologi Hijau dan Air, Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui dalam berkata, Pusat tidak pernah menghalang Kerajaan Negeri ! untuk me ngambil alih pengurusan air dari Syabas.
