Malahan Ahli-Ahli Parlmen Umno meminta Guan Eng menyaman Novandri dan bloggers pro-Umno jika itu merupakan fitnah yang sengaja diadakan kerana tuntutan politik yang "desperate".

Komen saya senang sahaja; ini merupakan satu lagi dari banyak bukti yang Umno begitu "desperate" untuk mendapatkan kembali kerusi-kerusi yang mereka tertewas dalam pilihanraya yang lalu. Umno tidak menampakan lagi sikap seperti parti yang memimpin negara. Umno sudah menjadi "defensive" dan ini merupakan petanda yang parti itu sedang menuju kearah kejatuhan. Ini hakikat.

Umno tercari-cari kesalahan DAP di Pulau Pinang seperti orang mencari kutu yang halus dalam rambut. Umno tidak mempunyai modal lagi untuk mendapat perhatian ramai. Umno nampaknya sudah menjadi "sour grapes" dan jika sudah dihinggapi oleh penyakit seperti ini selalunya parti yang seperti ini akan ditinggalkan oleh orang ramai.

Orang ramai akan mula berfikir samada parti ini mampu untuk menjadi pelindung kepada rakyat kerana orang ramai akan sendirinya akan merasa tidak berkeyakinan jika sebuah parti pemerintah sanggup melakukan perkara yang amat menjijikan itu semata-mata untuk menyambung nikmat berkuasa.
