WHAT MALAYSIA NEEDS IS A TRUE "WAKIL RAKYAT"

The clock ticks.....when is Dato' Seri Najib going to make known a retraction of Parliament.

UMNO/BN has been land events/ceramah while promising voters which if they have been return to power, they will honour all their promises. At a same time UMNO/BN claims which they have been a "tested" lot, given they were a supervision given Independence.

The Opposition in a alternative hand claims which they will minimize or get absolved of corruption as well as will order a supervision with some-more accountability as well as transparency. Opposition also have promised which tolls will be removed on their victory.

BUT Malaysians need to be wakeful which all these promises will only be kept if you can secure a "HUNG" Parliament where eccentric members of parliament can comprise a bit some-more than a third of a seats.

These eccentric members of parliament will be a TRUE WAKIL RAKYAT given they will not be bound by any party rules.

Can you see this happening?

BN can win GE battle with money splash, says Dr Ling

KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 Barisan Nasional (BN) could win the ubiquitous elections since of rare spending upon the public, Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik told Chinese newspaper Sin Chew Daily in an talk published today.

I consider BN can still win, since the supervision is spending income uninterrupted underneath different names, as well as this has never happened before, he told Sin Chew in an exclusive interview.

Recently, the supervision has been spending heavily upon assorted schemes to aid the public, including book vouchers for students as well as Bantuan Rakyat 1 Malaysia (BR1M).

A new poll showed which the budding ministers approval rating has surged by 10 per centage points to 69 per cent upon the back of an improving economy as well as the money handouts of RM500 to low-income households underneath BR1M.

Pollsters Merdeka Centre found which the budding ministers await was top among households earning less than RM1,500 the month during 78 per cent, with four-fifths of Indians as well as 74 per cent of Malays additionally giving Najib the thumbs up.

However Dr Ling (picture) thinks which the effect of the BR1M aid upon electorate has long faded.

The former MCA president acknowledged the notice which Chinese electorate did not perspective BN favourably.

Generally speaking, Chinese are not great towards BN, though in Perlis there is no alternative preference (besides BN), (BN) may additionally miss await in Johor, though not to the point of losing, he was quoted as saying by Sin Chew.

Dr Ling said, however, which the failure to keep the supermajority in Parliament would not be the big problem, as he found nothing wrong with the publics enterprise for change.

A lot of things will change, the past e.g. (March 2008) proved which things softened when there was the change, whats the complaint (with change)?

I consid! er BN kn ows what kind of formula they will face, they know this is the really hard battle, he said, stressing which this time the ubiquitous elections is really hard as well as formidable for BN.

Zaid Ibrahim upon Street Demonstrations

zaiduntukrakyat.com.(05-08-12)

"I hold which the right to arrange in the pacific approach is elemental to the democracy, generally in the direct for the giveaway as good as satisfactory election. However, you need to take into comment the views of others, generally the Police. The right to pacific open does not meant the right to arrange anywhere you want, generally when the authorities benefaction pick sites which have been similarly accessible as good as suitable

I entirely understand why DAP vice-chairman Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim as good as most others in the Opposition have been against to travel demonstrations of the kind you have witnessed. We have been from the aged era who have seen with the eyes the bloodshed as good as assault which can occur in this countryWe positively wish shift as good as remodel so Malaysia will be improved run, with corruption as good as abuse of energy minimized. At the same time, you ourselves contingency never resort to assault in the efforts to achieve shift as good as reform."Zaid Ibrahim

Prior to BERSIH 2.0, you cautioned the organizers which you contingency be clever about regulating travel demonstrations lest difficulty should explode as good as the Government should acknowledgement an Emergency. The make use of of democracy in the nation is gossamer as good as you should be extra-careful in the actions so which insane parties cannot take value of the situation to bring chaos.

At which time, the Govern! ment was not meddlesome in engaging the BERSIH organizers as good as the Opposition, as good as Ministers were openly disrespectful of Opposition final for the examination of choosing practices. They even refused to let the Bersih organizers make use of Stadium Merdeka as the venue for the gathering. The hardliners in UMNO prevailed, so BERSIH 2.0 became inevitable.

BERSIH 3.0 was different. you suspicion which both the Prime Minister as good as the Home Minister were distant some-more receptive this time around. They offering befitting alternatives to Dataran Merdeka. There was an viewable shift upon the partial of the Prime Minister in dealing with open issues like BERSIH.

Anyone can see which he was perplexing to engage the public, as good as the little of this was successful, others not so much. At slightest he was instrumental in the arrangement of the Parliamentary Select Committee which made most recommendations for remodel to the Election Commission. The Opposition itself supposed these recommendations.

As such, there were no melancholy statements prior to BERSIH 3.0 from the Government as good as the Police. Indeed, you consider which the Police exercised some-more restraint than before (until the barricades were broken, which is). you suspicion the organizers should have supposed the offer of an pick venue. Had this decision been taken, there would have been no difficulty as good as travel violence. But even BERSIH chairperson Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan came across as being unreasonable in her demands, much to my surprise.

I hold which the right to arrange in the pacific approach is elemental to the democracy, generally in the direct for the giveaway as good as satisfactory election. However, you need to take into comment the views of others, g! enerally the Police. The right to pacific open does not meant the right to arrange anywhere you want, generally when the authorities benefaction pick sites which have been similarly accessible as good as suitable.

So now you have been presented with the scenario which is both frightening as good as complex: according to the Pakatan Rakyat, they no longer certitude either the Police or the Election Commission. They positively do not certitude the Government. So it has become unfit for either side to engage in dialogue each side will usually harden its position as good as it seems which all parties have been now looking for outright combat, not discussions as good as compromise.

Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will press upon with the national roadshow of rebuttal as good as travel power. PAS has even offering to organize Bersih 4.0. If you let things go unchecked, you hold there will be some-more assault as good as even detriment of lives.

We have been entering the brand new as good as dangerous proviso in Malaysian politics. The hawks in UMNO will contend to the Prime Minister: "Your place to live as good as shift have been certain signs of weakness, so pierce over" How can this be deliberate "progress" for the country?

I entirely understand why DAP vice-chairman Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim as good as most others in the Opposition have been against to travel demonstrations of the kind you have witnessed. We have been from the aged era who have seen with the eyes the bloodshed as good as assault which can occur in this country.

We positively wish shift as good as remodel so Malaysia will be improved run, with corruption as good as abuse of energy minimized. At the same time, you ourselves contingency never resort to assault in the efforts to achieve shift as good as reform. This means which you contingency do everything possible to reduce the event for the other side (the side with guns) to resort to assault as well.

It takes both sides to practice restraint as good as to act responsibly. The Prime Minister will not be means to do this upon his own the Opposition contingency be willing to fool around by the same rules.

It is choosing time anyway. There is no need to create the false movement by resorting to "people power" the approach the Arabs did. The people wish the right to arrange as good as to protest though there have been most who will confirm to expel their votes based upon who can assistance sort out the economic difficulties you have been all facing.

The people wish the stable Government which can residence the little key bread-and-butter issues. The Opposition should thus concentration upon these issues as good as earn the await of the people without resorting to travel power. This might not be as sparkling as the open demonstration though it is positively improved to be safe than sorry.

Murali at the Bridge: MIC turns violent as PKR makes inroads with Indian community

Murali during a Bridge: MIC turns violent as PKR makes inroads with Indian community
Well, it wasn't quite a bridge, as well as there was no approach three could have shielded such open ground as was to be found outside a PMO final week. Yet no reduction dauntless than Horatius was PKR Puchong division arch S Murali, as he shielded his fellows against a thugs of MIC Youth led by their goonish leader, T Mohan.
Murali may have his detractors though nothing they say could take away from what he did upon a 10th of May when he put himself unhesitatingly in harm's way. MIC had claimed which Murali had shouted vulgarities during them though this was proven to be a distortion by extensive photographic evidence.
Murali had stood, indeed, as wordless as Horatius, Herminius as well as Lartius as they waited for Tuscan attack. Murali would not be a only a single beaten by MIC's villainous thugs; others too (including S Gobikrishnan, an NGO leader) would nurse separate mouth as well as swollen jaw prior to a day was out.
Nor were a MIC's goons fazed by a actuality which they were attacking a multi-racial organisation which included Rafizi Ramli, PKR's Director of Strategy, Zuraida Kamaruddin, Wanita Head as well as Latheefa Koya, its Legal Head. Latheefa Koya could be seen, in a expelled photographs, fearlessly delivering scathing tongue lashing to any thug dope enough to come inside of earshot.
Not so simply scared
The main targets of conflict appeared to be (based upon declare as well as photographic evidence), incredibly,! a 17 ye ar-old schoolgirl as well as PKR vice-president N Surendran. The kid had had a temerity (in MIC eyes) to take her case to PKR instead of pang in overpower or wasting her time with MIC's incompetents. Indeed, a single MIC thug positioned himself during a PM's bureau door in an try to retard her entry.
It is misleading what T Mohan wanted to achieve by this piece of thuggery. Uneducated dolt he may be, though surely even he must know which this is a age of a camera-phone as well as twitter. The truth, therefore, will out.
The MIC story which they were there to thank a PM was given a distortion by a actuality which they were carrying printed banners job for Surendran to be sacked by PKR. And which T Mohan's mother had tweeted a not-at-all potential warning prior to a eventuality for Surendran to stay away.
If MIC Youth's intent was to dominate Surendran, they have positively not succeeded as well as are unlikely to. Surendran's great-grandfather after all, a counsel similar to him, spent years in British jails during a Indian Independence struggle, whilst his grandfather fought in a INA under Subhash Chandra Bose.
And Surendran himself was an experienced, tougher or stronger tellurian rights counsel prior to fasten PKR. In fact, Surendran has been upon a conflict against an MIC which finds itself in an indefensible position for an action which, in hindsight, can only be described as strategic lunacy.
Hisham as well as Najib appear to have left to sleep!
The MIC is separate with a party's fortify chief, KS Nijhar, dogmatic which he would haul up a culprits whilst Vel Paari, torch holder of a Samy Vellu faction, immediately cursed Nijhar. The military have proceeded upon an review though have yet to detain anybody, notwithstanding a spectacular photographic justification ! publicly available. This, of course, will surprise nobody.
Of more concern perhaps, is a unfortunate subject of a extent of a PM, Najib Razak, as well as a Home Minister, Hishamuddin Hussein's involvement in a conflict upon PKR's leaders as well as members. It seems improbable which such an conflict could have left on, as well as for so long, in so heavily policed a location as a Prime Ministers Office but some form of official eye-closing.
Nevertheless, you will finish with a salute to Murali, who if asked why he did it, may maybe answer, which a male can find his finish in no better approach than facing fearful odds; for a remains of his fathers; as well as a temples of his gods.

The stories of Bersih 3.0

IF you're the Malaysian celebration of the mass this, you will have seen what happened during Bersih 3.0. Whether or not you were in Kuala Lumpur upon 28 April, or glued to Facebook or Twitter, you must have encountered images, videos, or reports of the colossal convene which started as the gratifying sit-in as good as finished in rip gas.

The fumes have cleared, though the air is still thick with claims as good as counterclaims. Many have accused the police of excessive force. The police have identified more than 100 suspected lawbreakers during the rally. To contend nothing of the barrier breaching, censorship, political hijacking, presumably UN-approved teargas, as good as unidentifiable policemen.

And afterwards there have been the stories. Stories from extraordinary Malaysians who participated in Bersih 3.0 for different reasons, as good as who encountered different amounts of rip gas. But who all felt the usual incentive to share their observations with the wider community.

So what was the stroke of Bersih 3.0? High-profile statements as good as central turn aside, you believe it's this! common storytelling which will stroke democracy in Malaysia.

Democracy as good as stories

Political scientists have nonetheless to determine upon the definition of democracy. One thing is clear: it's not usually elections. It isn't even usually pure as good as satisfactory elections.

In fact, elections have been the bit of the domestic oddity. Political scientist Benedict Anderson records in The Spectre of Comparisons (1998) which choosing by casting votes "is roughly the usually domestic action imaginable in undiluted solitude". While most forms of domestic appearance engage manifest as good as organic common action, choosing by casting votes is rigid as good as private. At the polls, domestic communities have been fragmented in to particular actors, for the consequence of next to illustration of each individual.

But this illustration has little meaning unless the choices driving it have been built upon great information, as good as unless the representatives have been held accountable to their mandates.

At one extreme, you have elections the curiously constrained though universal partial of democracy. At the other, there have been rallies similar to Bersih 3.0 climactic though mostly polarising moments of domestic participation. And in in between have been the ongoing as good as infrequently unexciting though nevertheless vital discourses which define the domestic sphere.

This is where the Bersih stories come in. We have been witnessing the swell in the series of Malaysians expressing personal opinions in public spaces, since they righteously wish to jot down as good as share the fact which they were there upon 428.

Crucially, these stories do not stand alone. Many writers contend they were desirous to share after celebration of the mass someone else's story. The reader comments upon many accounts of Bersih 3.0 show genuine, if occasionally ! confront ational, engagement with each other's experiences of being Malaysian.

Building bridges

The Bersih stories have been bridges. They bond the systematic symbolism of elections as good as the raw symbolism of mass assemblies with the practical realities of people who have been behind to their everyday lives. Only with more yellow clothing as good as less toleration for some of the nondemocratic norms in the country.

They also bond particular Malaysians. The Bersih 3.0 narratives have come from the humbling variety of people. Seasoned bloggers. First-time protesters. Mothers. The daughter of an FRU officer. And you accept charges of nepotism for this one my cousin, the SEA Games medalist who attended the convene as the medic though was beaten by the police.

This practical post-Bersih show-and-tell is democratic to the core. By pity the stories, you affirm which particular knowledge matters to the incomparable group. That each voice has next to value.

For reasons which domestic scientists also have nonetheless to determine on, Malaysia has seen the lot of bridge-building over the final couple of years. The Mar 2008 elections were pivotal. The results were the startle since no one, not even those who had voted for the opposition, had imagined there were so many others similar to them. After Mar 2008, it got the ! bit easi er to dream together.

Then final Jul you had Bersih 2.0, where the fanciful mixture of Malaysians flooded Twitter with Bersih stories. After the event, images of the lady holding the flower as good as drenched in chemically laced H2O done Anne Ooi the rallying indicate for large netizens who claimed her as their Aunty Bersih.

Global bridges

Here's another key approach in which the Bersih stories have been bridges: they bond Malaysians across the globe. After Bersih 2.0, the steering committee expelled the inform titled "The awakening of the Malaysian diaspora", celebrating the 4,000 abroad Malaysians who came together in 38 cities upon 9 July.

Bersih 3.0 convene in London.

Bersih 3.0 had an even incomparable general presence, reportedly spanning 85 locations in 35 countries. Watching print montages of the Global Bersih 3.0 demonstrations is enough to trigger comfortable fuzzy patriotism, as good as incredulous laughter during the glorious improbability of it all.

This kind of overpass is necessary when you're vital abroad. First, these common social platforms facilitate the logistics for diasporic Malaysian gatherings in the initial place. Second, they allow abroad Malaysians to express their continued stake in the country, as good as to share which articulation with those during home.

Internet bridges

Internet-based media has been key to my own bridge-building experience. Over the final 6 months, you have seen my electoral roll jot down upon the Election Comm! ission website shift from the unchanging choosing by casting votes status, to the unchanging choosing by casting votes standing with the postal voter duplicate in process, as good as afterwards behind to the unchanging choosing by casting votes standing with no acknowledgement of my absent voter application. My IC series afterwards dead utterly from the electoral roll for the couple of weeks.

My original voter registration has nonetheless to reappear in the electoral roll, though during slightest now the website says which my absent voter registration is being gazetted. Throughout this process, support from Facebook friends Malaysian as good as otherwise has kept me from thinking which you am the funny brat for perfectionist my right to vote.

In some ways, there is nothing brand new about communications record formulating the common space for the development of egalitarian inhabitant consciousness. In Imagined Communities (1983), Benedict Anderson argues which the pity of ideas by the printing press is necessary to the development of the "nationally-imagined community".

In Malaysia, the government has always kept the sincerely firm hold upon the print media, stunting the development of the democratic imagined community.

Enter the internet. As Digital News Asia editor A Asohan observes, the disorderly decentralisation creates the practical space for connections, stories as good as truth. Regardless of how most rip gas as good as censorship the government inserts in to the earthy public space.

We have the long approach to go. We need to means the pity of stories as good as reflections beyond the aftermath of the catalytic eventuality by the drawn-out slog for domestic liberties. We need to discuss ways to interpret the tentatively common dreams in to dirty policy solutions. We need to occupy these bridges both defending them as good as stuffing them ! with tra ffic, in the name of the democratic Malaysia.

Hwa Yue-Yi is the unapproachable Malaysian as good as the demure though carefree product of the internet age.

Who says the EC is independent?

FRANKLY, you wasn't surprised at all when it was reported in late Apr which both a Election Commission (EC) chairperson as good as emissary chairperson were Umno members. Even though justification of celebration membership as good as despite a EC emissary chairperson's successive U-turn as good as denial, it would not be a widen to suppose both a chairperson as good as his emissary have been Umno members.

I don't disbelief PKR's proclamation about a tip EC leaders' supposed domestic membership was strategically timed to be released a day prior to a twenty-eight Apr 2012 Bersih 3.0 protest. Clever strategy aside, Umno membership alone isn't a usually justification of a EC's lack of independence. The justification has been ascent over a years.

Wan Ahmad Wan Omar

What alternative explanation do you have? And how can you be oh-so-certain which a EC is not eccentric even if it's in a future demonstrated which neither Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof nor Datuk Wira Wan Ahmad Wan Omar have been members of any political party?

A debasing commission

Firstly, every single member of a EC, including a chairperson as good as deputy chairperson, is a former civil servant. The m! ost new appointment, Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee, was before a former Kuala Lumpur Special Branch chief. This composition in itself sets a EC up for disposition given polite servants' professional precision is to carry out a wishes of a supervision of a day.

Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof

This point was made by Bersih 2.0 in a recommendations to a Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) upon Electoral Reform in Nov 2011. It argued which in a country where usually a single coalition has formed a federal supervision given 1955, "inevitably, comparison polite servants solemnly stop making a eminence in between a supervision as good as a domestic party". That includes a Royal Malaysian Police Force as well, which has mostly demonstrated which BN events can ensue though a hitch whilst Pakatan Rakyat functions have been mostly prevented from starting ahead.

Bersih 2.0's claim is supported by a sworn statement of EC officials themselves. In an interview by a team of researchers with a tip 3 EC officials in a 2000s, a afterwards chairperson, emissary chairperson as good as cabinet member pronounced it was "normal for them to see a prime minister even prior to constituency reviews were begun". The chairperson combined which "as a practical matter, requests for meetings by 'number a single as good as series two' could not be refused, distinct similar requests from obtuse domestic leaders". [1]

It is not usually academics who have reported upon a debasing attribute in between a EC as good as a supervision of a day. In a march of researching for this column, you found an aged news report you wrote in! The Star upon nineteen January 2003. The article quotes a afterwards EC cabinet member as observant which a elect would submit a updated electoral hurl to a supervision for clearance after it had been displayed.

(Click for bigger view)

Many adults have additionally witnessed first-hand a EC's subservience to a BN. At a Bersih 2.0 public forum upon twenty-one February 2011 in Petaling Jaya, for example, Wan Ahmad's constant give up was: "We can introduce [reforms] though ultimately, a supervision decides."

Competency or complicity?

Then there is a long-standing emanate of gerrymandering as good as unconstitutional malapportionment. Through a years, a EC has redrawn a boundaries of constituencies in ways which have benefited a BN. Is which a mark of an eccentric elect ensuring giveaway as good as satisfactory elections?

And there's been a warding off by a EC to take a BN to charge for opinion shopping through a make use of of taxpayer's monies to offer growth projects usually prior to a polls. This was most not long ago important during a 2011 Sarawak state election. Indeed, it was a EC's realistic warding off to even verbalise up opposite or examine a intensity violations underneath a Elections Offences Act in Sarawak which compelled ! Bersih 2 .0 to organise a huge rally upon 9 July last year.

To be satisfactory to a stream EC leadership, chairperson Abdul Aziz is usually following in a prior EC leadership's footsteps. In 1995, afterwards EC cabinet member Datuk Rashid Abdul Rahman declared there was "nothing wrong in making selecting promises" during an selecting campaign:

(Click for bigger view)

What does a EC's strong ignorance of these selecting breaches tell us? It tells us which even if a EC care have been not Umno members, they have been possibly incompetent or complicit with a BN. And it would seem which they have been for at slightest a past seventeen years.

Rescuing a EC

Many academics have, for a past fifteen years or more, noted how unfair as good as problematic our electoral complement is. In 1996, important Australian educational Harold Crouch wrote: "The Malaysian electoral complement [has been] so heavily installed in favour of a supervision which it is tough to suppose which [it] could be degraded in an election." Ten years later, an additional academic, J Funston, echoed a same sentiment since nothing had changed. Funston wrote which "EC activities often supposing approach benefits to a BN".

How can a EC be rescued? The EC might consider which merely selecting a "non-aligned colour" instead of yellow in a trademark will do a trick. However, a mount! ain of j ustification which a EC is possibly incompetent at a best, or not eccentric at a worst, means much some-more needs to be done.

In a recommendations to a PSC upon Electoral Reform, Bersih 2.0 due multiform measures which would ensure Malaysians had an EC they could have certainty in. One, because can't you have an EC which comprises some-more than usually retired polite servants? If necessary, a series of commissioners can be increased to ensure wider illustration as good as expertise.

Two, some of a issues you face can essentially be addressed by substantiating a Code of Conduct, as practised in India, which spells out most appropriate practices for all parties as good as possibilities during an election. This code of control could additionally be practical to a media so which newsrooms can be pressured to ensure satisfactory coverage of all possibilities as good as parties no have a difference their domestic affiliations.

And three, if a EC is to recover some semblance of credibility, it needs to reclaim a power to have manners underneath Article 113(5) of a Federal Constitution. These manners can be used to demarcate a make use of of public institutions or supervision machine in selecting campaigns.

The question, of course, is either a EC wants to be rescued. If a flourishing justification of some-more than a decade is anything to go by, you disbelief it. And if a EC won't remodel itself of a own volition, what else have been adults left to do?

[1]
Lim, HH (2005) "Making a complement work: a Election! Commiss ion", in Putucheary, M as good as Othman, N. (ed.), Elections as good as Democracy in Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, p.263.

Jacqueline Ann Surin believes a EC should not be so worried which with electoral reforms, BN will remove power. The elect should be some-more worried which though electoral reforms, BN will come into power usually to have a legitimacy questioned.

PANAS BERAPI! APAKAH NILAI CHE TOM DISISI AZMIN YB JAMBAN?

Firman Allah SWT di dalam surah Al-Isra, ayat 23;

GEMPAR!!!

Bersih 3.0. Marches Had Spearmints. Now We Are Killers Pulak!

The Bersih 3.0 marchers as well as supporters have been certainly a colourful lot, i.e. given a multitude of colours in a sea of yellow upon April 28, 2012.

Though 99.9% of those who came out frankly saw themselves as peaceful fellows, albeit most who against it being hijacked by politicians, nevertheless they went with their caps, cameras, balloons, flowers, indignant birds, towels, salt, H2O bottles as well as alternative paraphernalia compared with a festive celebration.

And a violence, riot, fights, scuffles, as well as a most some-more terminology tenure being used by a anti Bersih, government, their supporters as well as even a law enforcement agencies, have been all meant to demonise a thousands peaceful adults who had no idea what happened would happen.

Of course, you right away know a reason to paint a dark side of a supporters so which a government can swing a strong arm of a law to pros! ecute al l those 'troublemakers'.

As if branding them, a marchers which is, as lawbreakers, misfits, misled, bias, shioksendiri, rioters, troublemakers, representative provocateurs, commies even, they have been right away labelled as killers or intensity killers. The final clout mark was revealed by none alternative than a Home Minister. For a Home Minister to make make make make use of of of of such strong labelling, his intelligence, no not a grey make a difference which seems blank upon top of a neck, but a intelligence entertainment machine contingency unequivocally have sniffed out a 'killers' between a thousands for him to credit a Bersih eventuality as a single where attempted murder contingency be upon a bulletin besides being frankly hijacked by politicians, sit down criticism as well as what have you!

To strengthen this cousin's hold as well as convic! tion, a alternative cousin even revealed after about dual weeks post eventuality to a outrageous audience of celebration fans in a keynote residence thoughts you observant with self-assurance '"Police were beaten up with ball bats until they vomited blood. Are these civilised people?."

Gosh really, how barbarian a Bersih fellow contingency be. And those there together with yours indeed saw flowers, flagpoles with Jalur gemilang, indignant bird balloons as well as yellow balloon sticks, camera as well as video tripods being carried by a 'yellow side' group. While a 'blue side' you saw revolvers, batons, teargas guns, trucks, H2O cannons, razor wires, barricades, helicopters.

Remember how Uncle Sam's adults were Bush-whacked in to believing Saddam had WMDs? Well in BolehLand, a Bersih fellows have been being 'baseball' walloped by some jib-berish indictment of 'baseball' WMD used during a event! Well as they contend if you wish to hold what you believe, you'd hold it in anything you see or imagined right>?

One isn't certain where a ball bats came from. And do not even ask for a ball bat to be shown as evidence since a authorities will certainly be means to furnish a whole garland of ball bats if need be right? And do not be surpr! ised if alternative sports apparatus will after be detected being carried by Bersih supporters as well as used as WMD. Let's see hockey sticks, cricket bats (hope not from a Selangor Club which sits pound in Dataran Merdeka), badminton rackets. ping pong bats (after all most Chinese between a marchers right?) even marbles.

<----- Spotted 'baseball bat' to wallop compartment vomit?
So right away a yellow throng is pronounced to have ball bats which certainly if you discuss it it to kampung folks as well as ole group as well as women which they have been torpedo weapons, they'd certainly hold which you intend to make make make make use of of of of them to whack any a single compartment they puke right? And you add 1cousin's 1 as well as another 1cousin's 1, you get dual illusory immutable fact which there have been killers in Bersih 3.0 marchers vigilant upon whacking a law enforcers compartment they puke as well as to kill!

Gosh which makes a thousands intensity killers!

Wonder if a young susceptible students hold 1coursin's tale of 'killers' lurking between a Bersih 3.0 throng or a thousands of ! celebration fa n club hold a alternative 1cousin's tale of 'baseball' bats used to wallop compartment vomitting, eh?

The benefit of disbelief goes to a students who would most likely mistrust 1cousin, while a alternative thousands will by blind obedience will hold a tale of a alternative 1cousin huh?

If you wish to make your story 'credible' you need to blemish any other's back right? Whether it's a law or distortion doesn't matter. Once you both have been in sync 'scratching any other's back, what you contend will be reinforced as possibly a fact, law or an outright lie.

Whether it's a law or distortion what both these cousins spoken is a make a difference of perception real! ly. As t he observant goes, you can discuss it a law or distortion to some people all a time, but you can't do which a! ll a tim e to all right?

So what's subsequent after this 'killer' label as well as brand new found evidence of 'baseball bat' used to wallop compartment vomit? upon Bersih 3.0 marchers?

Hmm, let's see, they haven't used a laser weapons yet, conjunction aliens (extra terrestrial as well as those compared with migrants, yet a single think a latter is not being referred to probable since a statute side wants their opinion come GE13 huh?) , catapult, stones, alcoholic bottles, even yeo hup sing packet drinks, what about straws which can poke a eye of a law officers, hey even those wearing stilettos have been lethal weapons, wigs as impersonation, even dressed up similar to some Arabs as intensity suicide bombers?

Hmm, even those with sharp finger nails can additionally be deliberate carrying lethal weapons, so have been keys, even teeth can be used to bite so lethal weapons again, as well as don't forget belts, you can make make make make use of of of of it as a whip or suppress your opponent, those carrying mamak teh tarik in plastic bag as well as rafiah fibre additionally lethal weapons as fibre can make make make make use of of of of to strangle, mydin plastic bags or those make make make make use of of of of to ta pau mamak roti canai can be used to choke too, banners can make make make make use of of of of to strange too, so as well flagpoles can be used as kung fu weapons. And don't forget you were told even cameras have been lethal weapons so as well your mobile phone as well as SD card!

And many, including! yours ! t ruly had Spearmints in their slot as well as regulating them. Surely these have been deliberate lethal WMDs after all a name has 'spear' in it, right?

Gosh seems everything is lethal upon a Bersih 3.0 marchers. On hindsight in a subsequent Bersih 4.0 why not have minimalist attire or do a full monty. Will which be slight after of march passing a halal fatwa acceptance which you can accumulate during all eh?

What some-more resourceful theories will these dual cousins as well as those who against Bersih will come up with next? Let's not strain the smarts silly to puke out some-more conspiracy theories as well as discover weapons of mass drop shall you as you have ready supply from a cousins as well as the leaders anyway.

Dress code for subsequent Bersih march?

Pro-Umno and BN violent protests, why inaction from police force?

We were sincerely disappointed with a recent aroused protests not long ago that centered around a chateau of Bersih chairman Datuk S.Ambiga, a central chateau of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng as good as a Penang state government's formidable (Komtar).

What we all knew have been all these aroused protests have been being systematically staged by a pro-Umno as good as BN groups, quite Perkasa as good as alternative Umno-inspired NGOs. The incident during these protests seems to be very violent, joined with name calling, impiety a victims as good as their family members, urging everybody to hate as good as to censure them for whatever grouses or grievances they had as good as so on.

Apart from that Perkasa members were additionally seen arising death threats to a Penang Chief Minister by putting death signs onto his central chateau gates, blockade as good as roadsides. These Perkasa members have been additionally seen you do a same when they hold their protests outside Komtar. In a end, what they did? Rubbish have been being simply thrown about as good as a number of vandalism have been reported in these two areas after a protests.

Same goes to Ambiga's residence, detached from selling a supposed "burgers" around a area, they additionally created trade jams, cheering as good as yelling at people as good as alternative passerby cheering extremist slogans, impiety a open as good as leaving a lots of rubbish in a said area in a end of a day.

So, what did a military do? Yes, they were called in though what they did? These military crew did nothing as good as they all just stood there examination a fun. Asides, no detain were additionally done upon these Perkasa protesters who have been seen to be very violent, disrupting a peace as good as threatening a open order. Why?

Is a military ancillary such unruly as good as aroused behaviours as good as vandalism or were they b! ehaving upon directives from certain statute elites? For instance, we additionally note that a military had additionally assisted a Perkasa aroused protesters by escorting them marching from Guan Eng's chateau to Komtar, to illustrate allowing a trade upsurge to be disr! upted in most ways.

The alternative thing was, Perkasa is right away resorting their "revenge" upon a family members of Datuk Ambiga as good as Guan Eng. This is deliberate a obvious harassment, threat, intimidation as good as advance of privacy, as good as nonetheless a military were just saying that "every party has their right to comment as good as voice their opinions". What a Penang military chief DCP Ayub Yaakob means was, these Perkasa protesters have been even authorised to uncover denote their assault as good as emanate threats onto a family members if they were incompetent to "reach" Datuk Ambiga or Guan Eng directly?

Come upon DCP Ayub as good as a rest of a military tip officials! You have been all simply being unfair to a alternative side of a domestic divide. It obviously shows that a complete military force have been upon a Umno as good as Perkasa's side.

Just look at a not long ago concluded Bersih 3.0 rally. If a military as good as DBKL were to have concede a sit in protests inside Dataran Merdeka, afterwards there will be no street protests anyway. If a military did not incite a Bersih participants afterwards there will be noretaliation from a people, if there have been no military violence, a throng wouldn't have separate as good as ran in to a mess that you called "unruly".

Why is a military usually arising photographs as good as nationwide arrests warrants, joined with a hazard of going to house-to-house military poke as good as arrests onto usually a Bersih participants? Why not do a same onto those life as good as open sequence threatening Perkasa as good as Umno girl members? These Perkasa as good as Umno girl members have been equally threatening a open sequence as good as e! ndangeri ng a people as good if a military wanted to talk about a theme upon "public sequence as good as a safety of a people".

If these tip military officials have been not aware of a real applications of a law, afterwards let us all remind them: Datuk Ambiga, Guan Eng as good as their family members have been all Malaysian citizens in suitability to a Federal Constitution as good as they all deserve equal as good as full protection of a law.

Umno used May 13 to cocoon Malays

Umno used a May 13, 1969 secular riots to remind a Chinese as well as non-Malays not to subject 'Ketuanan Melayu' as well as antagonize a Malays.
COMMENT
Today is a anniversary of a darkest days. Not a day for celebrations though a day to reflect when many lives were mislaid as well as a republic was confronted with a misfortune nightmare of carrying a own people turning opposite any other for no other reasons though race.
Today it is improbable to consider which you might be killed simply because you have been at a wrong place at a wrong time.
Kampung Baru was a wrong place for a Chinese to be upon May 13th in 1969. Just as a Malay had improved not be around Chow Kit during a same time.
Today you ask how is it which people will kill another human being because he or she is of a opposite race?
Mind you, they did kill people at random as well as chopped them up in to pieces. And mobs of people did roam a strees of Kuala Lumpur armed with any weapons they could lay their hands upon to lift out these ruthless deeds.
It was as if Malaysians have left insane with hatred for any other. But have you unequivocally schooled any lessons from a May 13, 1969 secular riots?
you lived through these times as well as memories of what happened afterwards as well as a romantic scars left in my mind still haunts me today.
you still encounter people who paid for houses at bargain basement prices from Chinese who no longer longed for to live around Kampung Baru.
you know of Malays who were with Dato Harun (Idris) which fateful day in Kampung Baru. They speak to me of those times in hushed tone! s as wel l as customarily amongst trusted friends as well as speak of those times as if they had undergone a rite of thoroughfare which perpetually defined them as 'that' organisation of Malays which had made "Ketuanan Melayu" possible.
43 years of negativity
For a non-Malays who were held up in a mayhem as well as apprehension of those killing days, it was a time for despondency as well as helplessness for they knew which those who were in a position to assistance them many were mostly Malays.
And in those uneasy times, to trust any other competition though your own was formidable to do.
Today it competence be impossible to believe which Malaysians have been capable of such ruthless deeds though May 13th did happened.
We all still live under a threat which competition might again be a reason to kill another Malaysian if a lessons learnt from which ruthless day in a history have been not taken to heart.
But does a Umno-led Barisan Nasional supervision assimilate this? Internal conflicts which a republic faces customarily have a approach leading them to maturity.
But sadly a supervision have used a lessons schooled during a May thirteen secular dispute to arm themselves with negativity.
To Umno, a May thirteen secular riots was "manna" from sky a God given opportunity which they have abused as well as used to impose their will upon all of us Malays as well as non-Malays as well as you have been temperament a brunt of these excesses today.
Umno warning to non-Malays
Where you should have schooled to assimilate as well as endure any other's strength as well as weaknesses, Umno instead chose to intensify these strength as well as weaknesses as well as cocoon a Malays in their own secular section making them incompetent or unwilling to live in harmony with others.
Where you should make use of a secular riots as a reason to not! allow a ny some-more killings of a own people to happen again under any circumstances Umno has used a May thirteen secular riots to remind a Chinese as well as non-Malays not to subject 'Ketuanan Melayu' as well as antagonize a Malays.
This Umno-led supervision has used a May thirteen secular demonstration as an excuse to limit all manner of polite liberties from a people Malays as well as non-Malays upon a drift of inhabitant security.
Since 1969, this Umno-led Barisan Nasional supervision has relentlessly taken a odious opportunity of commanding their sum will upon a population of this republic not for a common good of a people though in order for them to ravaging as well as ravaging a republic to a bare bones.
So is it any consternation which this Umno led Barisan Nasional supervision will again look back to which May thirteen situation as a means of holding upon to domestic energy if they lose it at a 13th general election?
