Ubah- Jalan Selamat Bangsa Melayu

Bila saya tulis rencana dalam bahasa Melayu, komen nya tidaklah sebanyak komen yang datang seperti kalau saya tulis dalam bahasa Inggeris. Maka adalah beberapa orang yang menghantar e mail kepada saya, bertanya mengapa jadi demikian? Adakah kerana tulisan saya tidak dipedulikan oleh pembaca Melayu? Mereka joke mengejek ngejek saya, tulisan kamu tidak laku.

Mungkin itulah sebabnya - orang Melayu kurang membaca tulisan saya. Sebab itu tak banyak komen. Kalau dalam bahasa Inggeris, komen nya datang bersusun susun dari bangsa bukan Melayu.

Sama ada betul atau tidak pandangan yang demikian saya tidaklah tahu, jumlah pembaca yang membaca lebih penting kepada saya daripada jumlah yang hantar komen. Jumlah pembaca artikel saya tetap banyak sama seperti jika ia nya dutulis dalam bahasa Inggeris.

Maka saya boleh katakan- jika tidak ada banyak komen bila artikel saya ditulis dalam bahasa Melayu, mungkin kerana kandungan nya dipersetujui oleh ramai orang Melayu. Jika ramai yang setuju, maka gelap masa depan UMNO. Atau yang kurang membaca artikel2 saya ialah Melayu UMNO. Jika demikian, ianya tidaklah merunsingkan. Melayu UMNO lebih gemar baca komik, majallah gila2 dan cerita2 dalam Mestika. Orang macam ini akan terus menyokong UMNO. Yang kita mahu yakinkan ialah pengundi Melayu yang atas pagar.

Ini satu lagi artikel dalam BM. Ianya mengenai harga diri atau maruah. Maruah suatu bangsa yang disebut sebagai bangsa yang tersohor dan mulia tapi yang meletakkan masa depan nya pada tangan orang lain. Oleh kerana meletakkan masa depan dalam tangan orang lain, mereka telah jatuh maruah kebawah pada beberapa darjat nya. Siapakah yang menyebabkan bangsa Melayu jadi demikian?

UMNO.

Sesudah 55 tahun merdeka, nampak nya peranan orang Melayu ialah merelakan diri dihimpun dalam stadium, atas padang dan dalam dewan2 besar , memulia dan memuja Dato Najib. Takkanlah setelah 55 tahun merdeka, it! u kerja orang Melayu?

Apa dah jadi kepada orang Melayu? Inilah akibatnya, apabila kita menyerah soal membangunkan bangsa dan negara kepada orang lain. Kita meletakkan kepercayaan memajakkan pembentukan masa depan kita dalam tangan orang lain. Orang lain tersebut memanipulasi minda kita dan menakutkan kita untuk percaya bahawa tanpa mereka, maka kita tidak ada masa depan. Kita kehilangan maruah, harga diri dan jatidiri. Kita joke memuja dan memulikan sang dewata mulia Najib Razak dan UMNO.

Demikianlah apa yang sudah berjaya dilakukan oleh UMNO. Kalau UMNO tidak ada, maka masa depan orang Melayu akan gelap. Dimana maruah orang Melayu jika demikian? Masa depan sendiri bukan ada dalam tangan sendiri? Setelah 55 tahun, bangsa Melayu dibentuk minda mereka untuk percaya bahawa kebahagiaan serta kesejahteraan mereka bergantung kepada UMNO dan bukan pada kebenaran nya, melalui uasaha mereka sendiri.

Kaum yang merdeka minda, mesti bertanya apakah yang mereka boleh lakukan melalui kerajaan sebagai wadahnya, untuk mencapai matlamat? Kerajaan bukan sesuatu yang kita sendiri ciptakan yang kemudiannya menindas serta menghimpit kita.

Sedangkan ada maxim( atau panduan) dalam bahasa Inggeris yang berkata- Heaven helps those who helps themselves. Dalam agama kita, kita joke biasa mendengar ustaz dan tok lebai membaca ayat2 Quran yang bermaksud- Allah tidak akan mengubah nasib atau keadaan sesuatu kaum, kecuali kaum itu mengubah apa yang ada dalam diri mereka. Dan kita juga mendengar- Allah tidak akan mengubah nikmat yang ada pada sesuatu kaum, sehinggalah kaum tersebut mengubah apa yang ada dalam diri mereka sendiri.

Apa maksud ayat2 tersebut? Maksudnya, bukanlah Najib atau UMNO atau orang lain yang akan mengubah dan mentransformasikan kaum Melayu. Yang mengubah dan mentransformasi kita ialah diri kita sendiri- usaha kita sendiri dengan nilai kehidupan yang ada dalam ! diri kit a. Kita tidak akan dapat mengubah masyarakat dan kerajaan yang korap jika, dalam diri kita tidak ada nilai membenci rasuah dan korapsi. Kita tidak ada mengubah kerajaan dan system yang tidak cekap, jika dalam diri kita sendiri, tidak ada nilai membenci kelembapan dan ketidakcekapan. Dalam diri kita, kita mesti bangkitkan nilai2 seperti ini dan bersama2 dengan ramai kawan2 lain, mempamirkan dan menterjemahkan keperibadian bangsa kita yang sebenarnya.

Maruah kita sebagai orang Melayu boleh dinilai daripada banyak mana kita bergantung kepada orang lain dan banyak mana kita meyakini bahawa perubahan kah, transformasi kah, reformasi kah, bergantung sebetulnya pada diri kita sendiri. Iaitu melalui usaha kita sendiri.

Saya membaca tulisan seorang pemikir Scottish- Samuel Smiles yang menulis demikian. Minat saya menulis pemikiran Samuel Smiles ini ialah kerana saya melihat ada sebuah buku rengkasan fikiran Samuel Smiles yang dirtulis oleh Steve Shipside bertajuk- Samuel Smiles- Self Help. Ia ada dijual dibanyak kedai buku sekarang dan salah satu penulisan yang selalu dirujuk oleh Goh Keng Swee( dahulu seorang timbalan PM Singapura dan arkitek ekonomi negara itu), ialah penulisan Samuel Smiles.

Bila mereka menolak UMNO, yang sebenarnya mereka lakukan ialah membebaskan minda daripada ketakutan dan tahyul bahawa tanpa UMNO, orang Melayu akan binasa. Masa depan kita, kita yang tentukan sendiri. Mana2 kerajaan yang muncul nanti, akan berdepan dengan suatu kaum yang benar2 berani menyatakan maruah diri mereka. Bila bangsa Melayu sudah kuat, mana2 kerajaan akan berkerjasama dengan kaum Melayu, bukan menindas dan mengeksploitasi mereka.

"Dua perkara yang membuatkan saya tertarik pada dia. Pertam! a, dia mengambil berat terhadap keluarganya dan keluarga saya. Kedua, dia menjaga solat," katanya yang mungkin bakal berbulan madu di Eropah.

Ummi Hafilda merupakan adik kepada Timbalan Presiden KEADILAN, Azmin Ali.

Ketika ditanya sama ada Azmin bakal dijemput, Ummi menjawab, "saya tak nak jadi hipokrit. Saya tak dapat menjemput dia bukan kerana politik."

"Kalau saya jemput joke dia tak ak! an hadir . Sedangkan anak saudara kami berkahwin joke dia tidak hadir... pergi majlis orang lain boleh.

"Malah, dia sudah anggap saya musuh, bukan adik," jelasnya.

Menurut Ummi Hafilda, aktiviti politiknya tidak akan terhenti selepas berkahwin memandangkan itu prioriti utamanya.

"Saya sudah jelaskan pada bakal suami bahawa hal berkaitan parti adalah prioriti saya, peribadi jatuh nombor dua atau tiga.

"Saya tetap akan aktif berpolitik dan alhamdulillah, dia faham," katanya yang pernah membawa Zaman ke salah satu ceramah politiknya sebelum ini.
