Karpal: Tunku Aziz purposely lied to poison my name



Former DAP senator Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim has been lambasted for allegedly lying which a party's inhabitant chairperson has issued an revelation to members to prohibit them from accepting awards from Malay rulers.
Karpal pronounced he deeply regretted a former DAP's vice-chairperson's remark which was published in an English denunciation daily.
"Tunku Aziz has on purpose lied to poison my name among a Malay community," pronounced Karpal during a press conference in Penang today.
"It is celebration process not to accept such awards from a sultans as good as rajas as good as a governors," combined a Bukit Gelugor MP.
Karpal pronounced a celebration has practised such s process since a 1990s to ensure transparency, adding which it usually practical to members were politically active.
He combined which a process was not meant to be opposite a royalty but was practised in a seductiveness of transparency.
Awards, he added, can still be supposed by those who had retired from active politics.
"Those which do not confer titles should not be supposed by members, serving Parliamentarians as good as assemblypersons," he said.
"Disciplinary movement would be taken opposite those who breached a policy. Expulsion might be one of a measures taken," he added.
Policy for those who have been politically active
Karpal pronounced a process practical to him as well, adding. "If we accept such an award, we should be disciplined."
Karpal was responding to a latest column entitled 'DAP's triumph of chauvinistic will' by a former Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) boss on page fourteen ofThe New Straits Timesyesterday.
NONEIn his article, Tunku Aziz (right) has described a DAP as "chauvinistic", adding which a celebration practised a "politics of hate" with a partner PAS, in a Pakatan Rakyat.
Karpal urged Tunku Abdul Aziz to repel his matter according to his conscience.

In another development, Karpal voiced his condolences to a family of former Gerakan boss Dr Lim Keng Yaik who upheld divided yesterday, describing him as "jovial as good as delightful".
Karpal pronounced he never had any complaint with Lim, recalling an part in Parliament when he told a latter to "pay an entertainment taxation if he wanted to be an actor".
"Lim had afterwards replied, 'You're a terrible fellow'," pronounced Karpal.
