Sedangkan umum tahu sejarah antara Singapura VS Malaysia atau Lee Kwan Yew VS Tunku/Tun M/Melayu yang penuh dengan prasangka serta tidak pernah selesa. Sifat kiasu Singapura yang enggan mengalah, enggan mengaku salah dan tidak boleh bertolak ansur dalam apa jua perkara membuatkan hubungan antara dua negara ini tegang. Walaupun tegang tetapi tetap tenang kerana sifat pemimpin Malaysia yang cukup sabar dan berhemah dalam menangani karenah kiasu mereka.
Siapa tidak tahu dendam ! dan impi an Lee Kwan Yew untuk mengCinakan Malaysia sepertimana yang dilakukannya di Singapura. Lee Kwan Yew juga tidak pernah berselindung tentang pendiriannya yang menganggap Islam itu sebagai penghalang perpaduan dan telah membuat kenyataan menyeru orang Islam agar tidak terlalu berpegang kepada agama agar lebih mudah untuk bercampur dan bermasyarakat.
Dan siapa tidak tahu hubungan abang-adik PAP dengan DAP. Dikhabarkan juga bahawa Lim Guan Eng memiliki sebuah pejabat di Singapura dan hampir setiap minggu akan ke sana. Untuk apa? Apa agendanya? Kini dengan lawatan pihak kerajaan Singapura ke Pusat PAS kita tertanya-tanya lagi tidak cukupkah DAP sebagai adik kandung dan kini PAP ingin mengambil PAS sebagai adik angkat pula?
Rasa curiga kita terhadap Singapura dan PAS bukanlah tidak berasas. Kita tahu pilihanraya semakin hampir dan Kedah adalah negeri yang menuju muflis di bawah pimpinan PAS. Tidak mustahil jika lawatan Singapura itu membawa niat untuk membantu adik-angkatnya di Kedah. Bantuan yang ditawarkan boleh jadi dalam bentuk pelaburan melalui kerjasama.
Justeru, persoalannya sekarang sejauh manakah kebijaksanaan kepimpinan PAS Kedah untuk membaca yang tersirat, yang tersurat serta mencongak-congak angka, kesan dan akibat jika mereka menerima pelaburan dan kerjasama dengan Singapura?
