Yang paling ketara sekali daripada jumlah 49 buah kampung, eleven daripadanya yang telah di lawati oleh Ketua Sri Kandi PKR Cabang Semporna Nazmahwati Walli baru-baru ini bersama-sama Wartawan Kanan Sabahkini.Net; termasuk Kampung Pulau Bum-Bum, Pulau Simandeh, Pulau Larapan, Pulau Tandoan, Pulau Labuan Haji, Pulau Selakan, Pulau Omadal, Pulau Bait, Pulau Pababag, Pulau Manampilik dan Pulau Denawan; ternyata telah terpinggir dan ketinggalan jauh dalam menikmati arus perdana pembangunan negara sejak twenty tahun lalu.

Kerajaan Barisan Nasional (BN) bukannya tiada pentuntukan, tetapi saban tahun tiga (3) ADUN dan ADR mendapat peruntukan beratusan juta bagi membangunkan kawasan yang diwakili, tetapi mungkin disengajakan dengan alasan kononnya kampung-kampung yang yang didiami mereka 60 peratus adala! h orang asing (PATI) dan hanya 40 peratus orang tempatan sahaja .
