Musa menyatakan demikian ketika berucap di Majlis Pemimpin Bersama Rakyat Daerah Mengundi Nunuyan yang diadakan di Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Kampung Pulau Nunuyan Laut, dekat sini, kelmarin.
Menteri Kewangan merangkap Pengerusi Badan Perhubungan Umno Negeri itu turut meminta rakyat terutama ahli-ahli Umno supaya memperkemaskan jentera parti; termasuk mengenal pasti sebarang bentuk kelemahan khususnya di peringkat akar umbi.
Tambahnya, ia penting bagi membolehkan kekuatan parti tidak akan mudah dibolosi apatah lagi pembangkang kini berusaha menggugat BN dengan melempar dakyah-dakyah yang tidak berasas.
Kata beliau, pembang! kang san ggup berbuat demikian kerana tiada cara lain melainkan hanya mendakwa kerajaan semata-mata untuk menarik sokongan rakyat.
Musa yakin, pembangkang bukannya kuat kerana mereka hanya pandai berkata-kata seperti burung kakak tua dengan menabur pelbagai pembohongan seolah-olah kerajaan pula tidak bekerja.
Menurutnya, cara pembangkang berpolitik ini masih ditakuk lama apabila memainkan sesuatu pembangunan yang kerajaan BN sendiri sedangkan laksanakan demi kepentingan rakyat.
"Contohnya seperti Lajim Hj Okin dan Dr Jeffry Kitingan. Mereka ini tiada orang yang mempercayai mereka berdua kerana tukang lompat macam kodok. Kalau Jeffry Kitingan entah beberapa kali lompat parti. Mungkin ada kalau 10 kali. Inikah sifat-sifat seorang mahu jadi pemimpin yang tidak punya pendiriantetap dan mereka berdua ini pemimpin yang tidak bermaruah dan tidak bernilai langsung di sisi masyarakat."
Lajim, kata Musa lagi, terlalu berangan-angan tinggi mahu menjadi Ketua Menteri Sabah jika partinya menang. Persoalannya, macam mana boleh jadi Ketua Menteri jika cakap Inggeris joke pelegak-pelegok.
"Yang dia tahu, hanya menyebut perkataan "actually ...actually". Itu sahaja yang dia fasih bertutur Inggeris. Bikin malu saja sama orang Sabah. Kelulusan baru SRP, angan-angan macam Mat Jenin. Temberang sana sini dan cakap tidak serupa bikin."
Tambah Musa lagi, pembangkang cakap itu dan ini, seolah-olah mereka pula yang lebih pandai. Semua pembangunan sedang dan telah kita laksanakan termasuk dari segi bantuan seperti Bantuan Rakyat 1 Malaysia atau BR1M, semua mendapat manfaatnya.
"Nanti ada lagi BR1M 2.0 yang bakal diagehkan selain macam-macam bentuk bantuan serta inisiatif yang kerajaan kita sedangkan laksanakan," ujar Musa.

Tiga hari lepas masa aku memandu nak hantar anak dara aku ke sekolah sesi petang, aku nampak beberapa orang sedang memacak tiang di situ. Semuanya aku kenal sebab depa tu rakan seperjuangan dalam Pakatan Rakyat. Orang Pas ada. Orang PKR joke ada. Malahan tuan tanah tempat depa menaikkan poster advertisement tu joke aku kenal sangat-sangat! Oleh kerana aku nak cepat sampai ke sekolah anak, aku tak berhenti tapi aku kasi hon kuat-kuat sama depa!
