Umno 66th anniversary demoralized by Bersih: Time to reflect on its survivability
UMNO birthday celebrations have never been distinguished upon such a grand scale as a 66th anniversary.True, no a single including most Malaysia Politics members themselves appear to be aware which it is ongoing right away or have shown much unrestrained nonetheless it was an eventuality which had been keenly anticipated, with a highlight being a entertainment of 1 mi! llion Ma lays providing a bearing for Prime Minister Najib Razak to fire up his jubilee ahead of a coming 13th general elections.
There have been most reasons for a sudden drop in seductiveness as well as enthusiasm. Obviously, a main factor was Najib's mishandling of a April twenty-eight Bersih 3.0 convene for free as well as satisfactory elections. Attended by hundreds of thousands Malaysians, which outrageous entertainment orderly by civil-society as well as upheld by Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim's Pakatan Rakyat utterly knocked a oomph out of a Malaysia Politics 66th celebration.
That Najib has still been unable to bluster his approach through as well as shimmer over a harmful stroke of a Bersih convene underscores how unequivocally bad mutilated his personal credit has been by a approach he attempted to suppress a April twenty-eight protest. Not usually have been typical Malaysians up in arms opposite him for grouping a most violent military crackdown in recent history, most Malaysia Politics members have been unhappy with a wanton strategy deployed as well as Najib's own poor uncover of leadership.
The repercussions of a April twenty-eight violence have been still filtering in, including from overseas. Not usually has Mal! aysia's national as well as international picture been battered, it has turn something of a shame for someone to contend which he or she is from Malaysia Politics. Like it or not, thanks to Najib's ham-fisted crackdown, a jubilee is some-more than ever seen as a knave hungry to cling to power, even to a extent of hurting other countrymen who disagree.
No large bang, a whimper some-more likely
In a past, Malaysia Politics celebrations have regularly been some arrange of a members-only private affair, with elementary ceremonies, speeches, singing, oath-taking as well as raising a jubilee dwindle during a domicile in a Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur. Never prior to has any Malaysia Politics boss had such grandiose - as well as expensive - plans of hosting a 13-day jubilee such as a current a single which began upon May 1 as well as will finish upon May 13.
But sad to say, notwithstanding spending an additional outrageous total of money - most of which will probably come from typical taxpayers' pockets - a Malaysia Politics 66th looks similar to an additional extensive fiasco for Najib.
He has prolonged been criticized for showiness, of being all form though no substance. The Malaysia Politics 66th might be a misfortune complaint of his under-performance to-date. What should be a joyous jubilee culminating in a roaring morale-booster for GE-13 looks similar to ending up with a whimper - without even a peep as well as dash, a glamorous razzmatazz which both Najib as well as wife Rosmah Mansor venerate as well as think zero of profitable sky-high for.
The events which had been slated includes a jubilee of a mass of "tahlil"(praises to God) as well as Quranic verses "Yassin", land a "Melayu Terbilang" award, a "Melayu Malaysia Politics" run, "Hari Malaysia Politics" carnival, futsal competition, motorcycle convoy as well as forums. The night before of a jubilee upon 11th May wi! ll be ho ld during Stadium Nasional Buk! it Jalil as well as Najib had planned to have it a standing-room usually eventuality - with a track filled to a margin with 1 million Malaysia Politics members.
However, a talk around town right away is which Najib has sent his aides scrambling as well as telephoning division chiefs all over a country, beseeching them not to be discouraged by Bersih 3.0, though to come as scheduled.
Too bustling infighting for jubilee celebrations
While it creates clarity for a assorted Malaysia Politics warlords to appear in a final uncover of force opposite Anwar as well as a Pakatan, a Malaysia Politics grapevine is complicated with tales of dishonourable infighting.
Many warlords see little destiny with Najib during a helm, yet it is difficult for them to reject him with former boss Mahathir Mohamad still subsidy him. Certainly, whatever 'show' is put upon during a Bukit Jalil Stadium! , Najib' s days have been numbered. What remains to be seen is how, when as well as by what demeanour will a Malaysia Politics warlords push him out!
Morale is indeed using low in Malaysia Politics. This is clear from a near absence of unrestrained in which a 66th celebrations were kicked off. These were utterly overshadowed by a Labor Day or May Day celebrations. On 2nd May, Malaysia Politics Kedah valiantly attempted to hold a dwindle relay though it finished up with Merbok Youth arch Shaiful Hazizy Zainol Abidin heading a organisation of just 5 motorcycles as well as 5 runners upon a 20km run to Sungai Petani. It was embarrassing to contend a least.
July GE-13 a red herring to damp a 'warlords'
Najib has attempted to pin a censure for Bersih 3.0 upon Anwar as well as PKR emissary boss Azmin Ali. He even indicted Bersih of trying to topple a BN supervision -! echoing Mahathir, who warned Malaysia would go to a dogs if a Pakatan came to power.
The ultimate news leaks in a Malaysia Politics media have been which GE-13 will right away be hold in early July, whereas Najib had been expected to acknowledgement a mid-June polling date during a entertainment of 1 million Malays during a Bukit Jalil stadium.
UMNO watchers hold a July time line is an additional red herring to damp Malaysia Politics warlords, who might turn ugly during a ultimate polls deferment. Chances have been much aloft which a GE-13 will be hold after this year or even in 2013, they said.
The faltered start of a Malaysia Politics 66th jubilee reflects a current mood in a party. Silenced by a Bersih uncover of force, no a single is quite certain of what to contend or do. The silent majority which Najib as well as Mahathir have regularly claimed as well as bragged about eventually pennyless a silence upon April twenty-eight as well as a summary does not bode well for possibly Malaysia Politics or BN.
Writing is upon a wall
It is right away even tougher for Malaysia Politics to recover as a enervated Najib might be a misfortune leader to helm both jubilee as well as a republic during such a tumultuous crossroad in a history. That he has run out of answers as well as ideas is clear. Police savagery has backfired. Mahathir's sniping during Anwar no longer works. In fact, Mahathir is right away arguably a most hated male in a republic as well as Najib a close second.
Sex scandals galore, sodomy accusations as well as doctored sex tapes no longer capture seductiveness - instead, they irritate. The ultimate example is a sex video opposite PKR's Azmin Ali, which was 'released' in a immediate issue of a Bersih 3.0 rally. Azmin has denied all involvement, insist! ing it w as a bid to take a heat off Najib. Whether a male in a sex tape was unequivocally Azmin, no a single unequivocally seems worried about. Instead, a primary open greeting was to agree with Azmin's assessment - which it was! cooked up to inhibit a Bersih fallout from Najib.
Yet, notwithstanding a half hearted open seductiveness in a purported Azmin sex-tape, a whole of Malaysia is clamoring for some-more details about how Najib allegedly swiped US$ 1 billion in bootleg commissions from a purchase of a RM7.3bil Scorpene submarines. They wish justice for a embezzlement in a RM250mil NFC corruption debacle involving a family of Malaysia Politics Women's arch Shahrizat Jalil.
Malaysians additionally wish to see Mohd Nedim, a wayward son of Malaysia Politics minister Nazri Aziz, punished; they wish a military to act fairly without favoured treatment for a Malaysia Politics elite. They have been not impressed by a dismantling of a AirAsia-MAS barter as they intuitively know a ultimate deal will benefit some jubilee or other related to Najib.
Crushed bones as well as lost lives
Above all, it appears a majority of Malaysians wish clean as well as satisfactory elections because they know this is a usually approach for them to eventually reclaim their rights over a government. It is a people who chose who they wish to lead them as well as not for Malaysia Politics to demand which it remains a supervision of a republic for as prolonged as it likes. Now, this is a premise which Malaysia Politics members would do well to outlay their thoughts upon during their 66th anniversary.
If they still demand upon 'trying their luck' as well as allowing Najib to continue with a bid to retain energy during 'all costs', even to a extent of "crushed bones" as well as "lost lives", afterwards it is for certain ! Malaysia Politics won't get to applaud an additional 66 years of existence.

Road to Malaysia's day of destiny
With good over 100,000 people gathering final week for electoral remodel in a largest travel protest in a nation's story - as good as a eventuality marred by violence by both state as good as non-state actors comparison - Malaysian governing body has reached an critical impasse.
The Bersih 3.0 convene as good as a aftermath exhibit which a trail ahead for Malaysian governing body will grow even some-more quarrelsome as good as complex. As a opposite 'Bersih stories' pour in, trimming from 'ordinary' heroism to a darker accounts of beatings as good as abuse of power, a pierce of Malaysian governing body outward of a area of elite to a streets as good as amicable media is both lenient as good as scary.
Prime Minister Najib Razak's preference not to house a concerns of a protesters final week, as good as even to demonise their actions, right away prods Malaysia offer along a road to a day of destiny, where a domestic predestine of Malaysia's 54-year supervision will be determined. So far, a routes selected have been a single of fight rsther than than compromise, creation fortitude to differences even some-more difficult.
Before a rally, Iarguedthat four actors would shape governing body around Bersih 3.0 - a youth,! a midst dle class, a military as good as East Malaysians. Of these, three were wilful upon convene day itself (the latter will grow some-more so as elections approach).
The youth as good as a middle-class attended a convene in vast numbers, imprinting a new generation's engagement with governing body as good as transforming a largely boring center category in to a some-more intent electorate.
Those wearing yellow as go! od as gr een enclosed Malaysia's soccer moms, a shopping mall princesses, discontented students, retirees as good as usually not good with words professionals.
These people comprised those who had for years enjoyed a air-conditioned comfort of Malaysia's success, yet with opposite levels of concern as good as angst chose to dauntless Kuala Lumpur's prohibited as good as humid conditions upon April 28. It was uncomfortable, though overwhelmingly, this embrace of discomfort shows how intent Malaysians have been with hot-button domestic issues as good as their eagerness to mount up as good as be counted.

For those not during a rally, a picture is reduction transparent as a mainstream media has manipulated a eventuality in an try to waylay a dignified high ground, with a supervision going as distant as censoring a international media as good as destroying cameras. Often a characterisation of military transformation has been a single of black as good as white, where in tangible actuality there is most some-more gray, as good as views have been evolving as some-more as good as some-more stories have been shared.

Different narratives
Bersih 3.0 was a nationalistic event, a impulse of patriotism. What is striking to see have been two conflicting 'Save Malaysia' narratives which have emerged. The initial is a single which is common by convene attendees as good as a supporters as those who braved a rip gas decided to come out to 'save' a country.
This prophesy is a single in which a eventuality becomes a branch point towards larger freedom as good as empowerment. The symbolism of Dataran Merdeka runs low as this jingoist narrative is a single of rights as good as fairness.
The core of electoral remodel involves guaranteeing which a voice of a peop! le is he ard sincerely as good as freely. As such, for Bersih supporters in attendance a rally, it was about this approved picture for a nation as it hopes to pierce towards a stronger complement formed upon firmness as good as inclusion.
This stands in sheer contrariety to a pick picture formed upon a some-more conservative nationalism, a single in which a hazard is tangible as a protestors, typical people, who have been severe a standing quo. They were portrayed as aggressive a country, initial upon a military force as good as then later a incumbent complement as a whole.
This government-linked 'image building' has attempted to showcase a protestors as inhabitant confidence threats (needing spiny wire), ! incorrig ible actors who have been 'dirty' rsther than than clean. Embedded in this narrative is a picture which a protestors have been anti-Malay, primarily as attackers of a Malay military force as good as later as presumably incorrigible individuals.
It is hate-speech which is suggestive of regimes which feed upon fright as good as reason onto energy through exclusion. Also weaved in to this narrative is a picture of destabilising reformasi proponent fighting for energy in a form of Anwar Ibrahim, who is ironically attacked even offer in what can be seen as an bid to move at a behind of a Dr Mahathir Mohamad's base of s! upporter s in to Najib's domestic fold.
The efforts to stoke hatred of a Bersih transformation as good as a supporters, generally antithesis leaders, have been extensive, involving a manipulation of a unfamiliar media as good as threats opposite journalists as good as observers, such as Australia's Senator Nicholas Xenophon.
This narrative is about regulating racism as good as fear, hoping to daub in to underlying conservatism as good as relying heavily upon state energy to reason onto power. This is all couched in an pick narrative of patriotism, where Dataran Merdeka is portrayed as a place where challengers to energy have been putting a nation governed by a BN underneath attack.
For a approved nationalists in this equation, Bersih 3.0 was a mass rebellion. It was attacked, put down as good as described in such a manner which will set up anger. The calls for Bersih 4.0 have been already being uttered between supporters.
For a conservative nationalists, Bersih 3.0 represents a revolutionary eventuality which they have selected to demonise, not fully realising which in doing so they have been sowing a seeds of offer discontent.
Supporters upon this pole have been demanding for arrests, with Bersih leaders as good as antithesis activists top of a list, as they have been without eyes by authoritarian tools used in a Mahathir era which have been outdat! ed in Ma laysia's some-more grown up polity.
Four fundamental mistakes
The reason which these narratives have been so opposite is a continued misreading of Bersih 3.0. There have been four fundamental mistakes which a conservative nationalists done about a Bersih rally. First of all, they continue to proportion a transformation ! with a opposition.
This stems from a entrenched fright of Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim. While both Pakatan Rakyat as good as a civil society-led Bersih transformation share some usual interests in reform, as do a overwhelming majority of Malaysians from opposite a domestic divide, they have been not a same. Bersih represents a broad amicable transformation which goes beyond antithesis domestic leaders, as good as arguably even a Bersih leaders themselves.
It is about remodel in governance as good as better representation, including upon a partial of antithesis parties. This expansion of civil multitude in to places such as Kota Kinabalu as good as Ipoh, as good as broadening inside of Kuala Lumpur itself, illustrates a new people-oriented governing body of Malaysia. Elites upon both sides will have to house a some-more active as good as intent public.
The days when people blindly follow a leaders or go to a streets for personalities alone have been gone. Attacks upon particular politicians in a arise of a convene just exhibit a complete disagreement of a movement.
The second inapplicable designation of a conservative nationalists is which Bersih 3.0 is about apart groups of Malaysians divided by ethnicity, organized by obviously ethnically di! vided gr oups. While racial temperament stays critical for Malaysian politics, for convene goers this was not about race, though about a country. The consistent thesis is a single of Malaysian identity, where a single of a rally's t! hesis so ngs was 'Negaraku'.
The stroke of this public pierce to embrace non-ethnic governing body is profound. In Mar 2008, voting opposite racial lines was largely private. The being of usual role came when a formula came out.
Questions will sojourn about a breaching of a barricade, as good as unless a indeed eccentric celebration investigates, a 'he said, she said' dynamic will be abundant with swindling th! eories w hich multiply difficulty as good as guess rsther than than foster genuine respect for a order of law.

The stroke of this public pierce to embrace non-ethnic governing body is profound. In Mar 2008, voting opposite racial lines was largely private. The being of usual role came when a formula came out.
Many of a motivations of Mar 2008 - Hindraf, religious rights as good as some-more - were racial in nature. Bersih 3.0 was markedly different. It was about a usual purpose, where ethnicity was put in reserve in favour of village building. Bersih 3.0 was arguably a largest trust-building eventuality in Malaysia's story after Merdeka.
Malays, Chinese, Indians, Kadazans, Ibans as good as some-more met any other, common laughter, water, sweets, salt... as good as tears. (The spillover is which it helps set up certitude between most antithesis supporters who came to a rally, as good as a middle-ground Malaysians who met revolutionary antithesis members for a initial time. For PAS in particular, maybe a biggest success was a Amal confidence units, which were seen protecting convene goers opposite races.)
After years of transformation towards differences, towards reduction understanding, this was put in reserve upon a prohibited afternoon. Bersih 3.0 has set in place conditions where certitude office building between typical people can grow stronger.
Ironically, a conservative nationalists have underestimated a abolition of fright in Malaysian politics. This is their third mistake. The aplomb between Malaysians is growing. You do not need to demeanour during a numbers of a crowd, although this should not be ig! nored.
You do not need to even demeanour during a leaders of a transformation or a examples of military officers who offering helping hands to convene goers while some of their peers were abusing their positions. Malaysians have been increasingly peaceful to take ownership of their future as good as hav! e been p eaceful to do so again.
Conservatively, a size of Bersih 3.0 doubled in reduction than a year. The authorities have been rowdiness themselves if they consider which these people will not mount up again. Bersih conservatively without delay overwhelmed over 20 percent of a citizens as good as in a roundabout way most more. The vast appearance of immature people is generally critical as they have been traditionally a strongest risk-takers.
One tyro remarked to me afterwards how a ambience of a rip gas a second time was sweeter as good as she was ready for more. Yes, a she. This is a reduction aroused Malaysia, as good as a some-more angrier one.
Finally, a conservative nationalists crop up to be mistakenly ignoring a emanate at a behind of a convene - electoral reform. Polling conducted in late 2011 shows prior to Bersih 3.0 which only a third of citizens consider a electoral process is satisfactory as good as free - really most in line with a Umno hardcore.
Whatever people consider about a plan as good as people in Bersih - as good as views talk about - a overwhelming majority of Malaysians see a problem with a electoral system.
The supervision should bear in mind which globally, a single most critical eventuality which triggers domestic transitions is a fraudulent election. If a BN goes to a polls underneath a circumstances which have been already widely seen to be astray as good as not in integrity, they have been miscalculating a underlying sentiments of a growing series of people about a core emanate of a rally.
They will be seen to be illegitimate by a vast share of a population. This size of a convene should be sending transparent signals to leaders to scrupulously rivet in electoral reform. Anything else will be seen by most as a unfortunate measure to reason onto energy rsther than than a genuine charge of a leader.
No compromises, only confrontation
Attention has centred upon a timing of a polls. It looks some-more as good as some-more likely which these will start as early as next month. Najib, over a past week, has embraced a hardline position, with an try to unite his base as good as papering over a divisions inside of Umno.
The media inundation of a turned-over car as good as a following violence aims to move a farming base at a behind of in to a BN fold. To add onto this, a hardline efforts involving personal attacks - with weird photos adjacent upon pornography upon a front-page of inhabitant newspapers as good as complete fabrications of speeches - reflects a beginnings of an attack upon a antithesis as good as international observers.
These plan coupled with a embedded advantages! in a electoral complement as good as support from East Malaysia crop up to form a plan which is perceived to move a BN victory, albeit a single which will be rarely contentious.
To follow a trail of fight rsther than than concede is really risky. First of all, it ignores a elephant in a room associated with elections, a need for a elections to be seen as legitimate.
To date, a government's overdo to Bersih is missing as good as genuine avenues for electoral remodel sojourn unexplored. While Bersih faces a plea of illustrating a need for reforms as good as moving a transformation forward, a executive summary has resonated between most Malaysians. The larger a demonisation as good as distancing away from Bersih, a harder concede is possible.
Second, it assumes which Najib can carry out a actors who have been carrying out hardline maneuvers. Already a Umno-linkedNew Straits Timeshas beeninternationally shamed. How most alternative institutions will! have to concede themselves in this battle for power, in which some-more authoritarian measures have been adopted?
What makes a current sourroundings complex for a curren! t personality boat is which even a own actors upon a BN side have turn some-more non-state in nature as good as have been increasingly mobilised, creation this pierce toward legitimising hardline approaches even some-more risky.
Letting this arrange of governing body order reflects upon a leadership. Physics teaches us which with every transformation there is an additional reaction. Hardline options provoke hardline responses. This dynamic will offer to polarise a citizens in to domestic camps as good as toughen positions in these camps. The days of polarisation of families post-1999 reformasi have been coming again, though with even larger power since a mobilisation of a young.
Finally, this apparent preference by Najib to embrace a hardline domestic trail will have it even harder to move about any remodel in any realm. To delink mercantile remodel from domestic shift is unviable. There is a need to implement a order of law sincerely to foster a economy, as good as this involves a satisfactory as good as unprejudiced investigation.
To give in to a hardline domestic position will undermine mercantile remodel as good as contribute to a bad practices of regulating resources to win domestic allies rsther than than in office building a sustainable as good as thorough economy.
Indeed, a miscalculations of a growing amicable transformation by conservative nationalists will have Najib's inhabitant care even some-more vulnerable.
The pretension was inspired by a Bersih 3.0 protester, whose remarks upon BBC was censored by internal heavenly body TV hire Astro.

UMNO Perak Robbery (in Malay)
Umno rampas tanah Melayu miskin.
Dato Poh Tak Kiau bukan orang miskin.
Siapa pula Mohamad Tahir garbage garbage garbage bin Zakaria? Adakah dia salah seorang penduduk kampung Redang Sawa yang! miskin?
Mohamad Tahir adalah salah seorang Ahli Jawatankuasa Umno Bahagian Tambun.(boleh semak disini).Dia juga merupakan Pengerusi JKKP Kg. Tersusun Batu 8, Bandar Baru Putera dan Villa MDP. Miskin sangatkah Pengerusi JKKP hinggakan terpaksa mengambil tanah penduduk kampung?
Siapa pula Azahari Effendy Abd. Rahim?
Azahari Effendy adalah anak kepada Setiausaha Sulit Sultan Perak, Kol. Dato Abdul Rahim. Dia bukan orang miskin.

Security: Why is Bersih a threat but not smuggling of C4 to use on a civilian?
What exactly do you understand by a mostly referred term 'national security' these days? The BN-led political celebration which is in supervision mostly sites 'national security' as a reason for a actions as well as inactions opposite a adults as well as a political opponents.
And so a barage of intstitutions as well as strategies together with a media have been set in suit to move any a single as well as everyone who stands to talk about from a BN's perspectives.
Here have been a little critical situations which require re-thinking upon a meaning as well as significance of 'national security' as well as each adult has an requisite to think as well as talk about these considerations below as patriotic subjects of His Majesty a King since you have been a emperor republic with a Constitutional Monarchy where a King is a autarchic leader of this republic not a budding apportion or a political party.
Firstly,in a squeeze of weapons to urge a nation, should kickbacks to people be legitimized? Should a budding apportion be purported as well as concerned which he had a palm in traffic such suspected kickbacks? Are 'kickbacks' not an emanate which hinge upon inhabitant security?
Secondly, why have been particular unfamiliar adults roped in to work with 'private' companies to assistance secure weapons for a armed forces? In a case of a submarine squeeze from France, you had a solitary womanlike from Mongolia working with a solitary particular Malaysian adult (accompanied by a Minister of invulnerabil! ity then ). And of course which solitary womanlike was annihilated from a face of this earth with C4.
How come C4 can be 'secretly' smuggled out of a military base as well as used upon a municipal in a not so remote jungle as well as nonetheless you do not see signals of inhabitant confidence being compromised?
Thirdly, when you concede BN-owned newspapers to manipulate truths as well as publish doctored as well as maliciously inclined news, meant to smear as well as repairs a repute as well as integrity of leaders of an additional nation, is this not a hazard to inhabitant security?
Fourth,as witnessed in a Bersih 3.0 chronological event, unfamiliar headlines providers had their content mangled as well as censored during will by a internal provider. This has drawn a clever critique from a general media world. Are such reprobate acts by BN-owned media houses not a hazard to inhabitant security?
The tough evidences which have been issuing in by a hour since a twenty-eight Apr 2012, giving solid proof of police savagery opposite press people as well as their tools of trade have been these evidences not an emanate which has traits of inhabitant confidence concerns?
When group as well as women in police uniform (and since those with minus name tags to boot), go hounding adults in a crackdown covering many of a streets as well as alleys in downtown Kuala Lumpur as well as whacking a illumination out of tens of thousands of journey adults who were merely convention peacefully earlier is this not a low seated inhabitant confidence concern?
Fifthly, when groups underneath a patronage of certain political parties scream for blood, crushed skeleton as well as demonstrate with impunity race as well as religion sensitivities in public have been these not intensity threats to inhabitant security?
Sixth,we know ! there is enough evidence out there with hundreds of thousands of unfamiliar nationals carrying Malaysian Identification cards. Who issued these cards? What is a supervision of a day you do about it? Are these not a case of critical as well as intensity regard for inhabitant security?
Seventh, given a millions of legal as well as bootleg unfamiliar workers in a republic all of them coming from uneasy environments, as well as deliberation a little size of Malaysia in comparison to alternative adjacent nations as well as a little race - do these extraordinarily large numbers of unfamiliar nationals here not poise a confidence hazard to a nation?
Eighth, given a reported outrageous outflow of Malaysian Ringgit from a shores to a tune of billions, do these not poise an ultimate confidence hazard to a emperor nation?
Despite all these eight areas of intensity as well as real threats to a inhabitant security, you listen to a budding apportion claiming which a handful of what appeared to be Bersih protestors poise a inhabitant confidence threat. Now what do you have out of this?
Is it not BN which is a real hazard to a presence of Malaysia
When adults have it transparently well known to a supervision of a day about their intentions to peacefully congregate to register their condemnation of actions as well as inactions of a BN-led supervision over a demand for giveaway as well as fair elections, a rarely provocative position is rught away strategized as well as implemented by a powers which be. Does this kind of function as well as reactions not poise critical inhabitant confidence threats?
Yes, you need to re-think. We need to quickly scold all a falsehoods as well as secure a republic opposite all intensity as well as impending confidence threats.
If a supervision of a day cannot champion as well as strengthen a worshiped King as well ! as a lan d, afterwards a adults contingency out of patriotism register their loyalty to save this republic from a numerous gaps which bluster a inhabitant security.
In this environment of a 21st century, there have been no gun boats as well as conflict planes to fight against. The debase is within. We contingency strengthen a King as well as a land from a many situations as well as deeds (identified above), which bluster this emperor nation.
Citizens have a duty as well as right to urge Malaysia opposite all those who have been raping as well as plundering this land as well as a resources of a emperor State. When institutions have been focussed as well as professionalism compromised to offer a solitary self-interest of politicians as well as their political parties during a expense of inhabitant security, you place a republic upon extremely exposed as well as precarious slope.
How can you work together as a single republic group as well as women with His Majesty The King as well as a worshiped Council of Rulers to put this republic behind upon a protected as well as secure pathway of justice, fairness, equality as well as on-going nation-building?

Paris Papers: Perimekar just a travel agency
Having had a payoff of seeking during some of a Paris Papers upon a Scorpene submarine liaison recently, it behoves me to give anxious landlubbers a 'hitchhiker's guide' to this involved mesh of payments which have left upon to douse this many costly (more than RM7 billion) arms squeeze in Malaysia's history.
Since Suaram lodged a censure with a French courts for a judicial examination of a Scorpene stipulate in Nov 2009, a French prosecutors have positively been bustling with their investigations.
They have interviewed officials in a French state-owned counterclaim company, DCN, as well as related companies such as Thales as good as officials in a French Defence Ministry.
They have looked into bank vaults as well as scrutinised contracts, memoranda of understanding, memoranda of intent, invoices, bank accounts of assorted people together with Abdul Razak Baginda (left in photo), a former tighten playmate of Prime Minister Najib Razak during a centre of a controversy.
There have been also some rather telling internal trusted reports of DCN as well as a French Defence Ministry.
So ! far, a Malaysian Defence Ministry has told Parliament that:

There have been also some rather telling internal trusted reports of DCN as well as a French Defence Ministry.
So ! far, a Malaysian Defence Ministry has told Parliament that:
- The cost of dual Scorpene submarines together with logistic await as well as precision was tighten to 1 billion euros (RM4 billion).
- Payment to Perimekar, an problematic association owned by Razak Baginda, for "coordination services" was 114 million euros (RM450 million).
Malaysian taxpayers will still need to pay even some-more for upkeep services, await as well as exam equipment, missiles as well as torpedoes, infrastructure for a submarine base, precision of crew, etc. The sum bill for ! these du al submarines will be in additional of RM7 billion.
But have been these dual a only transactions in a contemptible affair which has claimed a life of a fair Mongolian young woman named Altantuya Shaariibuu?

Negotiations upon a submarine stipulate started in 1999. At a time, French counterclaim hulk DCN had this view of Perimekar:
"The volume to be paid to Perimekar is overvalued. It is not value it... They have been never some-more than a transport agency... The cost is inflated as well as their await function is really vague... Yes, which association created unfounded wealth for a shareholders."
But this system was created by a Malaysian government so DCN had no choice.
Before 2002, when brand new laws in France as well as a OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation as well as Development) Convention came into force to make bribing of foreign officials a crime, income used to cheat foreign officials was even taxation deductible. DCN former finance director Gerarde Philippe Maneyas had done a explain for 32 million euros (RM127 million) allegedly used to cheat Malaysian officials for squeeze of a Scorpenes.
The budget apportion had questioned such a vast cheat nonetheless he did in a future authorize a taxation break.
With a brand new French law as well as OECD Convention opposite crime in place after 2002, a French arms merchants had to find a way to pay commissions to their foreign clients. The method used was to create 'servic! e provid ers' which could "increase invoices" to take a place of 'commissions'.

What purpose did Terasasi play?
The commissions as well as dividends for a Scorpene understanding were funneled by dual companies, Terasasi as well as Perimekar, both owned by Abdul Razak Baginda. His wife, Mazlinda is a director in Perimekar, whilst his father is a director in Terasasi.
Malaysians have listened about Perimekar as well as a "coordinating service" in a submarines deal. But so far there has been no discuss of Terasasi.
Could a counterclaim apportion please tell a Malaysian open as well as Parliament a exact purpose of Terasasi in this Scorpene deal?
From a Paris Papers, you know which during slightest 32 million euros (RM127 million) were paid by Thales International (Thint) Middle East to Terasasi.
There is an check by Terasasi antiquated October 1, 2000 for 100,000 euros (RM400,000). There is also an check from Terasasi to Thint Asia, antiquated August 28, 2004 for 359,450 euros (RM1.43 million) with a handwritten note saying: "Razak wants it in a hurry."

Scorpene scandal: Whos Terasasi?
What is not well known to Malaysians is which an additional French association was declared alongside the now infamous Perimeker in the scorpene deal.
Having had the payoff of seeking at some of the Paris Papers upon the Scorpene liaison recently, it behooves me to give anxious land-lubbers the "hitchhiker's guide" to this involved mesh of payments which have gone upon to douse this most costly (more than RM7 billion) arms purchase in Malaysia's history.
Since SUARAM lodged the complaint with the French courts for the judicial review of the Scorpene stipulate in Nov 2009, the French prosecutors have positively been busy with their investigations.
They have interviewed officials in the French state company, DCN as well as related companies such as Thales as well as officials in the French method of defence.
They have looked into bank vaults as well as scrutinized contracts, memoranda of bargain (MOU), memoranda of vigilant (MOI), invoices as well as bank accounts of various people together with Abdul Razak Baginda.
There have been additionally some rather telling internal trusted reports of DCN as well as the French method of defence.
What have Malaysians thus distant been told. So far, the Malaysian Ministry of Defence has told Parliament that:
1.The price of two Scorpene submarines together with logistic await as well as precision was close to 1 billion euros;
2.Payment to Perimekar Sdn Bhd for "coordination services" was 114 million euros.
Malaysian taxation payers will still nee! d to com pensate even some-more for maintenance services, await & test equipment, missiles as well as torpedoes, infrastructure for the submarine base, precision of crew, etc.
The total bill for these two submarines will be in additional of RM7 billion.
But have been these two the only exchange in the sordid affair which has claimed the life of the satisfactory Mongolian young woman declared Altantuya Shariibuu?
Perimekar merely "a transport agency"
Negotiations upon the submarine stipulate proposed in 1999. At the time, the French state association DCN had this perspective of Perimekar:
"The volume to be paid to Perimekar is over-evaluated. It is not worth itThey have been never some-more than the transport agencyThe price is arrogant as well as their await function is really vagueYes, which association combined ungrounded resources for the shareholders."
But this system was combined by the Malaysian government so DCN had no choice.
Before 2002, French bribes to unfamiliar officials were taxation deductible! Such is the inlet of arms deals all over the world.
Later when brand new laws in France as well as OECD Convention (Organisation for Economic Co-operation as well as Development) were introduced, bribing of unfamiliar officials became the crime.
Anyways, the former finance executive of DCN, Gerarde Philippe Maneyas had done the explain for 32 million euros (RM124 million) allegedly used to cheat Malaysian officials for purchase of the Scorpenes.
The French budget (Finance) apportion had questioned such the large cheat nonetheless he did in the future authorize the taxation break.
Bypassing French law
With the brand new French law as well as OECD Convention opposite crime was put in place after 2002, the French arms merchants had to find the approach to compensate commissions to th! eir unfa miliar clients.
The method used was to emanate "service providers" which could "increase invoices" in sequence to take the place of commissions.
Thus, when the French state association DCN terminated the contracts, Thales took over as the in isolation company, not involving the state.
Thales International was allocated to coordinate the domestic connections.
A blurb engineering stipulate was then signed in between DCNI as well as Thales, referred to as "C5".
The "C5 stipulate lonesome thirty million euros (RM119.4 million) in blurb costs abroad. The companies used in the Malaysian case were "Gifen in Malta, Eurolux in Luxemburg as well as Technomar in Belgium".
The transport expenses of Baginda as well as Altantuya were lonesome by these.
Another "consulting agreement" was signed in 2000 in between Thint Middle East as well as Terasasi for 2.5 million euros.
The commissions as well as dividends for the Scorpene understanding were funneled through two companies, Terasasi as well as Perimekar.
'Tell us about Terasasi'
Terasasi as well as Perimeker were both owned by Abdul Razak Baginda. His wife, Mazlinda is the executive in Perimekar while his father is additionally the executive in Terasasi.
Malaysians have heard about Perimekar as well as the "coordinating service" in the submarines deal.
But so distant there has been no mention of Terasasi.
Could the Minister of Defence tell the Malaysian open as well as Parliament the expect purpose of Terasasi in this Scorpene deal?
From the Paris Papers, you know which at least 32 million euros (RM144 million) were paid by Thales International (Thint) Middle East to Terasasi.
There is an check by Terasasi antiquated 1.10.2000 for 100,000 euros (RM397,880). There is additionally an check from Terasasi to Thint Asia, antiquated 28.8! .2004 fo r 359,450 euros (RM1.44 million) with the hand-written note observant "Razak wants it in the hurry."
This enlarge in invoices replaced the former dispensing of tall commissions.
A trusted report in the Paris Papers notes: "It appears which the government of Thint Middle East is aware which the volume paid to Terasasi ultimately benefited Najib or his adviser, Baginda."
Thus, as the French lawyer, Joseph Breham said: "Investigations so distant have supposing enough evidence to point the finger at Malaysian officials in this hearing."

Less hollow talk please, Najib
Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak should concentration on effectively elucidate existing problems in Sabah instead of boasting about a state's 'great' investment potential.
COMMENT
At least twice in a last a single month, a Prime Minister had hailed a "great investment intensity in Sabah." On April 20, while rising a Malaysian Unit Trust Week here he pronounced which "Sabah has great intensity to attract investors" as well as which multiform sectors had been identified to ensure mercantile growth for a State.
He pronounced there have been plenty opportunities to deposit in sectors such as renewable energy, oil palm, seaweed planting as well as tourism.
"There have been a number of blue chip companies under PNB as well as they should grab a opportunities accessible in Sabah to spearhead as well as propel a growth of a state," Najib reportedly said.
No disbelief what he pronounced was true as well as will sojourn true for a long time to come.
But what Najib pronounced is perceived here as "hollow" speak since while admittedly Sabah has a potential, a subject for locals is "haven't you already been exploited."
Furthermore isn't opening up more oil palm plantations in Sabah paradoxical to encouraging tourism?
Already tourism here is very much hindered by a sovereign government's lack of resolve to assistance a industry.
Direct international flights have been cancelled since a inhabitant dwindle conduit had allegedly lost billions since of a government's interference with its management, by appointing inept CEOs to run it.
And afterwards what is a sovereign superv! ision do ing about a cabotage process which had contributed to a murder of internal industries here?
Solve issues first
Why have been contractors from peninsular Malaya receiving so most contracts in Sabah as well as ordering office building materials from Peninsula Malaysia inst! ead of b uying locally?
Solve issues first
Why have been contractors from peninsular Malaya receiving so most contracts in Sabah as well as ordering office building materials from Peninsula Malaysia inst! ead of b uying locally?
The Federation of Sabah Manufacturers, I am sure, would have a lot more complaints about inhabitant policies which have been actually murdering a Sabah manufacturing sector.
The strange thing is, not most attention players have been making sound since of a fright of losing favours with a government.
The corrupted associate system works which way, as well as now you know why a mercantile life is getting from bad to worse.
Najib needs to be more assertive in elucidate a problems faced by attention players in Sabah instead of just repeatedly articulate about great investment potentials.
He should approach a relevant agencies to be more assertive in identifying as well as elucidate a problems in Sabah.

STOP CHEATING KADAMAIAN FOLK
By : PETER MARAJIN
KOTA BELUD: The recent proclamation by on vacation DPM Muhyiddin Yassin in Kota Belud which a Federal Government had approved supports for a asphalting of six critical rural roads inside of Kadamaian subsequent year is zero though an insult to a people's intelligence.
We have been not amused when Muhyiddin further suggested which he had instructed Minister of Rural Development as well as Regional, Shafie Apdal, to bring brazen a fund for a purpose from 2014 to subsequent year. Why can't they just start doing it this year if they have been sincere?
Why authorize projects which to be carried out after a destiny ubiquitous election? Does a Umno deputy president know something which you do not which he was so confident Umno would still be a ruling celebration after a 13th GE?
This is usually an choosing promise which usually is seldom over by Umno-led central government. Why wait for compartment choosing time to announce it? This is shopping of votes, as well as shopping votes is a clear cut corruption.
Muhyiddin additionally talked about a 'Magic Wand'. We never asked for a 'Magic Wand'. What you asked was for a rights as well as autonomy to be reputable as well as restored as well as which you should manage a own money, a large RM40 billions you send to Federal coffers each year, though get little in return.
On a other hand, PBS has been readmitted in to BN for eleven years right divided wit! h Herber t Timbon Lagadan been a ADUN of Kadamaian for a record 3rd term, nonetheless he is still talking about road upgrading for a kampungs in Kadamaian, which means he had finished zero to upgrade all a kampung roads for a last eleven years, which means he has unsuccessful as a Wakil Rakyat as well as a PBS unsuccessful a Kadamaian folks under a BN government.
The Federal Government under Umno had unsuccessful a Kadamaian folks for a past 49 years of 'Merdeka' notwithstanding a actuality which billions of Sabah supports flowed in to sovereign coffers, not to mention an additional billions from Sabah's oil as well as gas given 1976.
The Federal supervision is simply bullying a Kadamaian folks in to voting PBS in a coming choosing with empty promises. Why wait for for subsequent year when they can exercise a projects right away?

ZAHIDA BOTOK Vs SHAFIE TOP-UP ( in Malay)
Bhd. (584803-A).
Mengikut rekod JPJ, Zahida memiliki tiga buah kereta mewah yang didaftarkan atas nama beliau sendiri iaitu Toyo! ta Harri er nombor plet AAE2; BMW Model 630 (A) nombor plet WTN1941 dan Porsche Cayman s (A) nombor plet AAB3.
