Kampung Railway settlers submit memo to MP

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kampung Railways settlers from Sentul submitted the chit to MPs during Parliament today.

"Development should not be finished during the expense of heritage. I goal Keretapi Tanah Melayu [KTM] can offer them competent remuneration for their losses," PKR MP Nurul Izzah Anwar pronounced during the press discussion during the Parliament lobby.
Also present were DAP MP Teresa Kok, Federal Territories as well as Selangor Community Association coordinator Lena Hendry as well as the settlers action committee communications executive Jaison Alex.
The 31 families during Kampung Railway Sentul have been the fourth era of Malayan Railway workers who have been residing in Jalan 12, Sentul Pasar, since 1886.
