Greedy, corrupt leadership caused Malay agenda to fail, says Malay chamber

KUALA LUMPUR, October 23 The Malay economic bulletin failed to achieve its objectives due to corruption as well as greed, Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (DPMM) president Datuk Syed Ali Alattas pronounced today.
He pronounced dozens of supervision agencies had been set up as well as billions of ringgit had been used to help rise the Malay economy though the Malay community was at the "lowest level of achievement."
"What's gone wrong? That's what is being asked," Syed Ali pronounced at the Malay Economic Congress here.
"There is the lot of trouble as well as not sufficient responsibility among leaders that caused Malays to fall behind," he said. "Corruption as well as fervour caused the Malay bulletin to fail."
Syed Ali pronounced leaders indispensable to have the "clean heart."
