PULAU INDAH, Jul 25 The preference of the thesis for Independence Day celebrations is the prerogative of the ruling supervision formed on current needs but influence to any quarters. Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Ahmad Maslan said the thesis '55 Tahun Merdeka Janji Ditepati' (55 Years of Independence, Promises Fulfilled) chosen for this year's Independence Day celebration should be seen in the context of the definition of the promise.
"Fulfilling the guarantee is the universal good value as well as when we contend promises fulfilled, it motivates the people to do their promises in all aspects of life, except when the definition is narrowed down to domestic point of view."
He said this after attending the violation quick event with Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency crew on board maritime ship KM Marlin here today.
