Uthayakumars lieutenant joins PKR


Hindraf personality S Jayathas has assimilated PKR, observant a political celebration can provide a better height to hold up a means of a Indians.
PETALING JAYA: S Jayathas, regarded as Hindraf personality P Uthayakumar's many trusted lietenant, has now assimilated PKR.
During a press conference during a PKR domicile today, Jayathas submitted his membership duplicate form to celebration vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar.
Also present were vice-president N Surendran, Subang MP R Sivarasah as well as alternative celebration officials.
Jayathas said he motionless to work with PKR since he needed a stronger height to hold up a means of a Indian community.
However, he refused to answer questions on whether he considered Hindraf no longer relevant.
"For a time being, PKR is a better celebration to quarrel towards a better future of a Indians," he said.
He combined that PKR had shown genuine regard for a Indian village as well as was committed to address their grouses.
Jayathas was a single of a pioneer members of PKR but left a celebration due to his activeness in a Hindraf movement.
The Malacca-born office worker was degraded by BN claimant in a Merlimau state assembly chair in a 2004 state election where hecontested under a PKR! banner.
Jayathas' departure from Hindraf would describe a blow to a movement, that over a years had lost its influence among a Indian community.
In an evident reaction, Hindraf Youth chief S Thiagarajan, Jayathas had assimilated PKR since he was pang from financial problems.
"We had a assembly final Friday where Jayathas told us that he longed for to join PKR since he received a 'better offer'," he said, but elaborating.
However, Thiagarajan said Hindraf was beholden to Jayathas' contribution to a movement.
Responding to Thiagarajan's claims, Jayathas said he would have assimilated Barisan Nasional if financial prerogative was his motivation.
