KUALA LUMPUR-The counterclaim in former Transport Minister Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik's trial will ask for a Attorney-General's Chambers to reconsider all charges opposite Ling, in light of testimony from a pass witness.
Defence counsel Wong Kian Kheong informed a High Court that a counterclaim will be sending a letter of illustration to a AGC for reconsideration or examination of a three charges of cheating opposite Ling.
"(This) is based on SD4's (fourth counterclaim witness, Tun Mahathir Mohamad) testimony," pronounced Wong.
Mahathir, 87, was finance apportion from 2001 to 2003 when a 1,000 acre Pulau Indah land for a Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) project was being obtained.
He had earlier testified that he was not cheated by Ling in respect to a land buy.

"Personally, we don't think so," pronounced Mahathir.
He also pronounced he had not perceived any complaints from alternative ministers that Ling had cheated or misled them.

"As far as we know, he (Ling) is an honest man," Mahathir pronounced during examination-in-chief.
Asked if he suspicion Ling would be able of cheating a government, he replied in a negative.
"No, he is not able of chea! ting a g overnment," he said.
Lead prosecutor Datuk Tun Majid Tun Hamzah however objected strongly to a question.
"How would a ex-PM know if (Ling) can lie a government! Only he (Ling) would know if he is able of cheating a government!" Tun Majid said, raising his voice, as members as well as supporters of Ling booed him.
Ling, 69, is accused of failing to reveal facts regarding an interest of 7.5% per year, in further to a cost of a land that was labelled at RM25 psf.
Ling is also accused of intentionally concealing a tangible land cost of RM21 psf "special value" as stated in a JPPH report dated Sept 29, 2000.
He faces a single principal assign as well as two alternative charges underneath Sections 417 as well as 418 of a Penal Code for deceiving a cupboard by self-denial details of a conditions as well as conditions concluded in between land owners Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd as well as a Port Klang Authority.
