Utusan Malaysiaclaims that the 'new flag' dubbedSang Saka Malayaunfurled during the Merdeka eve celebrations during Dataran Merdeka was written by PKR Youth deputy publicity chief Najwan Halimi.
The every day cited Najwan's Twitter message upon that night that read "Sang Saka Malayafinally raised by youths" with the sketch showing dual people temperament the dwindle during the iconic square. It also reported that Najwan (right) had upon Aug 30, 2009, posted an essay upon his blog explaining thatSang Saka Malayawas written by him formed upon the patterns of Indonesia as well as Singapore's inhabitant flags, the birthright from the governments of this archipelago.

They are also upon the lookout for people who stepped upon photographs of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak as well as his wife Rosmah Mansor during the same event.
The military said this action was being investigated under Section 290 of the Penal Code for committing the open bother as well as Section 504 of the same law for causing conscious insult with vigilant to incite the crack of the peace.
