Malay rights pressure group Perkasa has claimed feat in preventing PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim from delivering a 'political speech' at a mosque in Bakar Baka, Alor Setar yesterday.
Perkasa's Kota Setar bend head Jamaludin Hashim said a movement did not want to concede Anwar to broach thetazkirahin a mosque as he was not accredited to do so.
"If it was PAS boss Abdul Hadi Awang who wished to benefaction thetazkirah, Perkasa would have had no objections since he is accredited," he reportedly toldSinar Harian.
"Kota Setar Perkasa wishes to stress which you will not concede Anwar to benefaction thetazkirah, but you will not stop him from entering a mosque for prayers."
PKR vice-president N Surendran, who had been benefaction during a incident, said a little 100 Perkasa members hadturned upoutside a mosque about 7.45pm yesterday during a maghrib prayers.
Surendran claimed which they had screamed obscenities and announced for Anwar to leave, while PKR's Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh tweeted which a shoe had been thrown in to a mosque.
This was a second situation since Anwar ! began hi s four-day northern peninsula tour in a run- up to a subsequent general election.
