Malay rights pressure organisation PERKASA has claimed victory in preventing PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim from delivering a 'political speech' during a mosque in Bakar Bata, Alor Setar yesterday.
PERKASA's Kota Setar bend conduct Jamaludin Hashim pronounced a movement did not want to allow Anwar to deliver thetazkirahin a mosque as he was not accredited to do so. "If it was PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang who wished to benefaction thetazkirah, PERKASA would have had no objections since he is accredited," he reportedly toldSinar Harian.
"Kota Setar PERKASA wishes to stress which we will not allow Anwar to benefaction thetazkirah, though we will not stop him from entering a mosque for prayers."
PKR Vice-President N Surendran, who had been benefaction during a incident, pronounced some 100 PERKASA members hadturned upoutside a mosque about 7.45pm yesterday during a maghrib prayers.
