Senator Idris Jala takes oath for second term

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 Minister in a Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Idris Jala was sworn in as a senator currently for a second term.
He took his oath of office prior to Dewan Negara President Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang.
Sarawak-born Jala, 54, holds a Master's degree in Industrial Relations from Warwick University, United Kingdom. He was made a senator in 2009.
He was handling director and arch executive military officer of Malaysia Airlines for 4 years and was picked as a "Orient Aviation Person of a Year 2008" for branch around a then troubled inhabitant airline.
He perceived a "Order of a Star of Italian Solidarity" from a Italian government in 2009 for his grant to strengthening shared ties.
