Gov't unaware of cash for uni students in N-Day


The government is unaware of allegations which cash is being dangled during university students in sell for their appearance during this year's National Day celebration, says Minister in a Prime Minister Department Koh Tsu Koon.

"I am not wakeful of this. The National Unity as well as Integration Department (JPNIN) is mobilising members of a Jiran Muda who is partial of Rukun Tetangga. We give them travel as well as food. That's all," he was quoted as observant in a inform byThe Startoday.

Koh clarified which a government was not privately going to varsities to partisan participants or a celebration.

"There have been students between Jiran Muda members but we do not go to schools or universities to get them," he told a daily.

Koh was responding to a inform byThe Malaysian Insiderwhich claimed which a JPNIN had in an email betrothed up to RM100 cash reward in further to giveaway food, travel as well as T-shirts for a National Day participants.

The inform said JPNIN was looking to mobilise some 1,000 studen! ts for t he eventuality aged between eighteen to 35.
