Bersih activist Maria Chin summoned by cops


SHAH ALAM, Aug twenty-six Bersih 2.0 activist Maria Chin Abdullah has been summoned to military station tomorrow, presumably in response to a devise by supporters of a polls watchdog group to convene during next week's National Day events in a city.

Gabungan Janji will gather during Dataran Merdeka, clad in yellow, upon a dusk of Aug 30, which coincides with a eve of Malaysia's national day.
In a press discussion upon Friday, Gabungan Janji said which coexisting gatherings will be hosted in alternative states, including Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor.
