KOTA KINABALU: The violation of having to wear adult diapers has not stopped an ageing Sabah statesman from wanting to go on to be the "Yang Berhormat" for an additional 5 years. Once the reputable leader, the aged statesman believes there is no one capable of taking over from him in his party, though his critics say it is greed as good as self-protection which is spurring him to urge his constituency in the 13th ubiquitous election.
His unbridled domestic ambitions is stark contrast to the decision by Pope Benedict, the head of the Catholic Church, to quit his post recently since he could no longer do his duties.
The ageing Sabah personality it is accepted had hinted to his closest aides about retiring if they could find someone who could take his place though none has dared to indicate the replacement.
