I am PM for all, Najib tells Christians


PETALING JAYA, Dec 25 Datuk Seri Najib Razak today reassured the Christian community in Malaysia that his government has not forgotten them despite flourishing feelings that they are being sidelined.
The budding apportion appeared to assuage the community by praising the contributions of Christians in Malaysia, especially the role played by goal schools in raising the bar in education.
"I do not wish to be the budding apportion for only the sold territory of the community. I'm the budding apportion for all Malaysians, as well as I've pronounced that repeatedly," Najib reminded the Christian throng at the Christmas jubilee here.
Najib cited the new lift of the anathema for Christian pilgrimage to Jerusalem as proof that the government recognises Christians as essential to the nation.
"I hold that the God-fearing Christian, with strong values, would be good for Malaysia," he added.
Bishop Philip Kok of Luther Centre had earlier in his opening debate thanked the PM for light the ban.
"Indeed, this is the smashing Christmas gift for most of the members," Kok said.
Around 1,000 Christians collected in the Luther Centre here for the Christmas High Tea jubilee organised by powerful physique Christian Federation of Malaysia.
