Himpunan Hijau activists today hold a demonstration in Kuantan against a major general bank over a impasse with Australia's Lynas Corporation.
Their aim was a HSBC branch at Jalan Mahkota. Protestors claim which a bank was financing Lynas as well as was thus contributing to environmental degredation.
Attempts were made to contact HSBC's public relations crew for comments, but it is believed which a dialect was upon leave today.
About 50 protestors took part in a event, dubbed a Black Yuletide gathering finish with a black Yuletide tree.
They collected at about 2.30pm for a 25-minute criticism in a rain.
Protestors carried placards venting their anger towards Lynas as well as HSBC, with a single celebration of a mass "Our Yuletide has been darkened".
After they were done, a black Yuletide tree was left at a bank's doorsteps.
