PM Najib starts Kedah visit by kicking off Umno meet

BALING, Aug 30 Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak began his one-day revisit to Kedah today by opening the Umno group divisional delegates meeting, here.

The budding minister, who was accompanied by his mother Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, arrived at the Rakan Muda Complex, Batu 42, about 10.15am to concurrently open the delegates assembly of the Baling, Sik, Kulim/Bandar Baharu, Sungai Petani, Merbok as well as Padang Serai divisions.

After the opening, Najib will attend the Hari Raya celebration with the people from Baling as well as surrounding areas at the same place.

The budding apportion will then leave for Alor Setar to attend an additional Hari Raya event with the people at the grounds of Darul Aman Stadium.

After that, he will revisit former Kedah state executive councillor Datuk Zakaria Said who had the stroke, at his house in Bandar Darul Aman, Jitra. Bernama
