Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin is not fit to discuss Selangor's H2O imbroglio given H2O tariffs were dramatically raised during his nine years as Johor menteri besar, said Selangor exco part of Elizabeth Wong.
As such, Wong (right) argued that Muhyiddin should not be chairing a special cabinet cabinet on a matter.
"In truth, (the deputy premier) has no knowledge as well as cannot minister frank ideas in H2O management," said Wong in a press statement yesterday.
Wong added that Johor has a top H2O tariff rate in a country.
"The people of Johor face H2O tariffs that are not reasonable as well as will not embrace giveaway H2O like in Selangor," she said.
She said a state Pakatan Rakyat supervision would not concede a gratification of a people to be jeopardised when it comes to water.
Muhyiddin's cabinet isblockingattempts by Selangor to take over H2O distributor, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas).
The cabinet had also decidedto proceedwith a RM8 billion Langat 2 H2O diagnosis plant, in any case of either Selangor grants a consent.
Calls for open tenders will begin subsequent month.

However, Selangor is austere that it ! will not heed Putrajaya's final until Syabas - an alleged Umno-linked company - relents as well as allows a state to restructure a H2O concessionaire.
The Khalid administration had argued that this was required in sequence to enlarge Syabas potency prior to all H2O resources are handed over to a Putrajaya's Water Asset Management Company (referred to as Wamco, or a Malay acronym PAAB).
Under a Water Services Industry Act 2006, Putrajaya will connect H2O services in all states.
All states have given surrendered their H2O resources to PAAB save for Selangor, Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu as well as Pahang.
In Selangor's case, a state supervision warned that H2O tariffs will enlarge to unaffordable rates should a resources be surrendered. Read More @ Source
