RCI upon Sabah illegals: Will de-facto PM Dr M suddenly 'lose' his mental recall - Kit Siang
Former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, who is acting more and more similar to a de facto sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia after going upon a 5-year "Sabbatical" following his 22-year premiership as a fourth PM of Malaysia, done dual remarkable statements yesterday.
Firstly, he pronounced he is unruffled which a truth in all a alleged monetary scandals during his 22-year premiership would be exposed if Pakatan Rakyat wins a next general election.
He pronounced we could do whatever we longed for even now to prove there were monetary scandals during his premiership.
He said: "He can open any file, even now. He can move me to court. we am not afraid.,"
What bravado indeed!
Then he cannot recollect his own Project M!
Secondly, he pronounced he is rebuilt to attest if asked by a Royal Commission of Inquiry investigating problems related to bootleg immigrants in Sabah, saying:
"I do not know what we can attest to. If we have any knowledge which they want, we am quite willing."
There can be no doubt which a person who has a most knowledge about a long-standing complaint of bootleg immigrants in Sabah is nothing alternative than Mahathir, generally as a infamous "Project IC" is known as "Project Mahathir".
Selective amnesia
Can Mahathir give an assurance which he would not humour another conflict of amnesia when testifying prior to a Royal Commission of Inquiry upon bootleg immigrants (RCIII) in Sabah, as happened when he testified prior to a Royal Commission of Inquiry into a Lingam Videotape in Jan 2008?
Mahathir, who is well-known for his "elephantine memory" prior to and after his coming prior to a Lingam Videotape RCI, pronounced "I cannot remember" or its equivalent 14 times during his 90-minute testimony in Jan 2008.
Would Mahathir humour another conflict of amnesia if he is to crop up prior to a RCIII in Sabah?
