PCM to contest two parliamentary, six state seats in Penang


Voters will be seeking during the candidates rather than during the party, says Parti Cinta Malaysia.
KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM), the Penang-based political celebration determined in 2009, will competition during least two parliamentary as good as six state seats in the state in the entrance ubiquitous election, pronounced vice-president Huan Cheng Guan.
He pronounced the two parliamentary seats were Batu Kawan as good as Bagan whilst the state seats were Machang Bubok, Bukit Tengah, Prai, Bagan Dalam, Bagan Jermal as good as an additional seat to be identified later.
"We will competition in Batu Kawan against the DCM [deputy arch minister] as good as Bagan against the CM [chief minister]. we will be contesting Batu Kawan (parliamentary) as good as Machang Bubok (state seat).
"This time, we believe the incident will be different as voters will demeanour during the candidate, rather than vote, according to the party," he told Bernama in an interview.
The incumbent for Batu Kawan is Penang Deputy Chief Minister P Ramasamy whilst Bagan is held by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.
Huan, the former Gerakan vice-president, was MP for Batu Kawan from 2004-2008, prior to giving way to Gerakan president Koh Tsu Koon to competition in the parliamentary seat during the Mar 8, 2008 ubiquitous election.
Huan was afterwards tasked with contesting the Bukit Tambun state seat though was degraded by PKR's Law Choo Kiang, whilst Ramasamy, who won the Prai state seat, additionally degraded Koh for the Batu Kawan parliamentary seat in the election.

"I'm the former MP for Batu Kawan. we still have the support there. For Machang Bubok, many of the grassroots supporters are there. That's why, we decided to additionally competition these two seats.
