THE BODY of a six-year-old local was recovered some 150 feet from where he was believed to have depressed in to a monsoon empty near Taman Sempelang, Sembulan, Friday.
Police received a trouble call during 4.30pm from a 15-year-old child who suspected something astray when he spotted a span of school boots near a pipe that leads to a monsoon drain.
According to Sub-Inspector Samad Sumadi from a Tanjung Aru police station, they alerted a Sembulan Fire as well as Rescue Department.
The plant was believed staying with relatives during a residential area while both relatives were during work. - Sabahkini
