Why Should Anwar debate Raja Petra?

by S we Tan@www.themalaysianinsider.com

Why should a Leader of a Malaysian Opposition debate a discredited blogger? In any democracy, a obligatory PM debates a leader of a Opposition, not some blogger who has illusions about his own influence.

Raja Petra Kamaruddin (left with Big Dog) might think that he is worthy of commend but he is not. He has not stood for elections as well as is not representing any constituency. In fact, he is only another blogger who owes his faithfulness to himself as well as whoever gives him a time of day.

If we layan him, he is very happy as well as will be friendly towards you. But if we don't attend to his advice, then he gets all worked up.

Of course, some people argue that he has crossed over to BN as well as that is his choice. Maybe they find him more utilitarian in bringing down a Opposition but he is nothing more than someone who puts his views opposite upon his blog.

He is not a Leader of a Opposition, an Opposition that has managed to shake up BN's hegemony. Anwar is a leader as well as thus a PM should uncover some spinal column as well as debate him.

But asking Najib Razak to uncover some spinal column would be asking too much. So Najib now takes this side issue of Anwar not debating a blogger as his shun route.

After more than 50 years, this is what Malaysiais left with: a Prime Minister unable to act prime ministerial as well as constantly looking for his script from public family advisors.
