KUALA LUMPUR, Mar fourteen Only a single per cent of about 100,000 policemen have been reported to have taken a bribe, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said today.
He warned which a number, however, could widespread like cancer if a situation is left unchecked.
Ismail was quoted by Bernama as saying, "It is regularly unfortunate to hear someone contend most policemen have been corrupt. This is not good."
He additionally told a national headlines agency which he is working upon inculcating a 0 corruption enlightenment in a military force and urged a open to report corrupt personnel.
The performance of a Police Disciplinary Department, which was determined to address military bungle has been satisfactory, he added.
