Uphill battle for BN in Lembah Pantai?


It is no secret that Federal Territories Minister Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin is a BN's favoured candidate for a Lembah Pantai parliamentary chair in a coming general election.

But judging by a reply of those at a BN-Umno Lembah Pantai eventuality yesterday - at that certificates, money as good as schoolbags were doled out to students who had finished good in a final UPSR as good as PMR examinations - he faces a tough task in wresting a chair from obligatory Nurul Izzah Anwar.

NONEThe eventuality organisers told relatives that Raja Nong Chik had privately set in reserve close to RM40,000 of personal supports to unite a money awards for a stud! ents.

This was a fourth year in a quarrel that a BN-Umno Lembah Pantai has organised a event.
