Police confirm no fatalities in Terengganu landslide


Police have confirmed which there were no fatalities in a Jabor landslide situation in Kemaman.

Kemaman military arch Supt Che Suza Che Hitam, when contacted by Bernama, pronounced a main entrance highway from Jabor-Jerangau to Air Puteh during Km139 now was passable following a Public Works Department having privileged a widen which was influenced by a landslide during 5pm today.

He pronounced a landslide damaged a truck as well as 5 sedan cars parked there due to floods in a area.

He added which a landslide happened during 3.30am currently whereby a 12-metre hillslope came crashing down as well as blocked a 50-metre widen of a road, where a vehicles had been parked for safety.
