Mahathir irritated over questions of nepotism in Sapura-Kencana understanding with PETRONAS

Former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad was irritated by questions from reporters currently over a potential dispute of interest in a new stipulate involving Petronas, in which he serves as an adviser.
Last week, Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd reportedly awarded a RM700 million stipulate to a Sapura-Kencana Petroleum Bhd wholly-owned subsidiary. Mahathir's son Mokhzani is a vice-chairperson of a latter company.
Mahathir replied in a spiteful tone when asked during a press discussion currently either there was dispute of interest in a deal.
"Yes of course, he (Mokhzani) is since it since we instructed Petronas. Put which in your paper.I presided over everything. we told them, greatfully give to my son as well as not to anybody else. That's what we have been we do all a time. When we was a budding minister, all was since to my children.But when all goes to a young kids of a alternative Prime Minister, we don't want to mention since he is a nice man. He enables we to read, doesn't he?" Mahathir pronounced in reply.
Sapura-Kencana reportedly made dual stock sell filings upon Nov 1, with a singular observant which its wholly-owned subsidiary Allied Marine & Equipment Sdn Bhd was awarded a stipulate for three-and a-half years of underwater services.
