Penang police say cracked RM11.5m microchip heist

BUTTERWORTH, Oct 8 The military hold they have solved an armed robbery involving mechanism processing unit microchips value RM11.5 million during a bureau here early yesterday.

This follows a arrest of fourteen people, including a suspected mastermind, and liberation of 90 per cent of a microchips.

The suspects, elderly between 20 and 40, have been remanded until October 13 to facilitate investigations.

State military deputy chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Jaafar pronounced a military sought multiform more members of a squad to finish their investigations in to a case.

He was speaking to reporters after a launch of a High Policing Police programme in a Seberang Jaya area here today.
