PARKING FEES CUT BY 30%




KOTA KINABALU: The State Government has concluded to reduce parking charges in a city by thirty per cent. And this will take effect very soon.

Disclosing this after chairing a State Cabinet assembly here yesterday, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman pronounced a role of cutting a parking charges was to reduce a burden of a people, generally city dwellers.
The old rates for sort A parking lot are RM31.25, sort B (RM11.85), sort C (RM5.85) and sort C1 (RM4.75). Asked if a Cabinet planned to additionally plead rebate of charges for private parking, he pronounced a matter would not be discussed yet.

City Hall took back a management of parking lots in a city from Syarikat Wawasan Ikhtisas Sdn Bhd effective May 1 this year.
