Khir Toyo says sorry to Ronnie Liu


KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 Former Selangor Mentri Besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo apologised in justice today to Selangor senior manager councillor Ronnie Liu to settle the defamation fit against him for implying in the journal report that the DAP politican was involved in clamp activities.
"I implied that YB Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew had obstructed the officers of the MPSJ as well as the police in shutting down the road house in Puchong, that I insinuated was the centre for harlotry activities.

"I also apologise to YB Ronnie Liu for serve insinuating that he was involved in such activities that insinuation is all untrue," Dr Khir was reported by The Star Online to have pronounced in justice today.
Liu, who is also Pandamaran assemblyman, had sued the Umno male 4 years ago over an article published in vernacular journal China Press upon May 9, 2008 in that Dr Khir was quoted.
He pronounced Dr Khir's remarks meant he was immoral as well as utter to be the politician, the headlines portal reported today.
The lawmaker in the statute Pakatan Rakyat (PR) state supervision who was also in justice was reported to have smiled as he accepted Dr Khir's apology.
Both shook hands in justice to sign the allotment of the suit, that was available before High Court judge, Nik Hasmat Nik Mohamad.
"There is the Chinese saying, if you can pardon people, you only forgive. What he pronounced is wrong as well as caused injury as well as repairs to my reputation as the politician," Liu was quoted revelation reporters later.
"It is okay to criticise your opponents but it has to be with basement as well as true. It cannot hurt oth! ers. It contingency be truthful as well as reasonable," The Star Online reported him saying.
