Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) had identified 5 charges under the Companies Act 1965 to be done opposite Suara Inisiatif Sdn Bhd (Suara Inisiatif).
The initial charge would be done in court in about the week or two, he told reporters after opening the Pekan Umno Youth, Wanita and Puteri delegates assembly in Pekan today.
He said the movement taken opposite Suara Inisiatif was not politically motivated, though because of the offence it allegedly committed.
Prior to this, the CCM was criticised by several buliding for failing to action opposite Suara Rakyat Malaysia (Suaram) that confessed to receiving funds from foreign countries and individuals.
This followed the report that claimed that Suaram was not the non-governmental organisation, though the association registered with the CCM.
