Toll reduction for Seremban-KL highway


It will be 60 sen cheaper in two years' time.
SEREMBAN: The fee charge for motorists travelling upon the PLUS expressway in between Seremban as well as Kuala Lumpur will be 60 sen cheaper from Jun 2014.
Surprisingly, the great news was voiced not by the cabinet apportion or anyone compared with Barisan Nasional, but by Seremban MP John Fernandez of DAP.
Fernandez told FMT today which he received the report from Deputy Works Minister Yong Khoon Seng in the created reply to the subject he lifted in Parliament final June.
Currently, motorists compensate RM7.20 for regulating the expressway in between the two cities. But by Jun 2014, the outing will be shorter by four kilometers with the execution of the brand new fee piazza which connects to Jalan Labu here.
However, according to Fernandez, PLUS will go upon maintaining the stream Seremban fee piazza for motorists who prefer to exit or benefit access to the expressway at the stream point. There is no denote of the fee rebate for those who choose to do so.
Apparently, the brand new piazza is being constructed in sequence to reduce trade congestion.
"Congestion at the stream Seremban piazza is very usual during rise hours, weekends, propagandize holidays as well as gratifying seasons," Fernandez said.
"The trade jam stretches for the couple of kilometres along the expressway, especially affecting south-bound traffic."
