SMS: Who are you voting for?


A 'Survey Reformasi' content message is being sent to Malaysian mobile phone users, asking them if they're starting to support Pakatan or BN.
PETALING JAYA: A content message asking local mobile phone users about their choosing choices is apparently making a rounds en masse over Malaysia's airwaves.
Entitled "Survey Reformasi", it asks users either they'll opinion for Pakatan Rakyat or Barisan Nasional, adding this is finished for contemplating purposes only.
In verbatim, a content is printed as:
"RM0.00 SURVEY REFORMASI. Jawapan anda hanya untuk kajian sahaja. Siapakah yang akan menjadi pilihan anda pada pilihanraya akan datang. PR atau BN?"
The message does not say if it was sent by BN, Pakatan or a third-party. However, with a embedded "reformasi" term, some might suspect which it was sent by PKR.
(The "reformasi" tenure was coined by PKR personality Anwar Ibrahim and his supporters after he was removed from energy in 1998.)
Speaking to FMT, PKR central cabinet part of Latheefa Koya denied which a party sent these messages en masse.
"We do not do surveys in this manner. I'm not certain [who sent them], but we know for a actuality which we do not conduct surveys in this manner," she said.
Adding which she as well received a message, she pronounced which PKR relied upon veteran surveyors to! sign ch oosing by casting votes patterns.
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) officials were unavailable for comment.
