Marine outfit thwarts gas smugglers in Sabah



TAWAU, Aug 8 The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has foiled dual attempts to filch out of Tawau 150 cylinders of in progress gas, a tranquil item.
Tawau MMEA chief of enforcement Capt Wan Mohd Affandi Wan Ahmad pronounced today a cylinders were seized from dual boats offshore Tawau on Monday.

Wan Affandi pronounced another vessel, with a 42-year-old Indonesian man as a skipper, was carrying 50 cylinders but any current documents when it was checked about dual nautical miles off a Batu-Batu jetty at 2.50 pm.
He pronounced a skipper of a boat, a licence of that had expired, was detained.
Wan Affandi pronounced a MMEA in Tawau would step up efforts to curtail a bootlegging out of tranquil equipment to ensure that there was no necessity of a goods in Tawau.
