MARCH 3 we am stumped, we really am. Why can't people really meant it when they contend they apologize as well as contend sorry. There should not be any qualifications or buts.
There contingency be sincerity. And we think that vicious part was blank currently when Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak told the entertainment in Kedah that he would similar to to apologize for Barisan Nasional's (BN) mistakes in 2008 that resulted in the bloc losing the two-thirds majority.
He then said that the BN would work hard to redress the mistakes. But the "mistakes" according to Najib were made multiform years ago so why weren't the mistakes accurate after all BN controls Putrajaya as well as all the purse strings as well as everything else.
So why weren't the "mistakes" rectified. Najib has been PM since 2009 so he can't blame Abdullah Badawi.
Apart from referring to the arrogance of BN reps as one of the mistakes, he did not blow up upon alternative reasons that led to the strong display by the Opposition. we can fill in the blanks.
* Corruption as well as abuse of power: there were the allegations opposite Khir Toyo as well as Zakaria Deros. PKFZ
What is still the same:
* Criminal crack of certitude in the National Feedlot Corporation box as well as the argumentative settlement of Tajudin Ramli's close to RM590 million debt to Danaharta as well as the argumentative award of the RM2.2 billion (project) to the association related to Umno lawyer as well as the former Chief Justice.
* The compromised judiciary: Remember the VK Lingam tapes as ! well as the commentary of the Royal Commission that concerned Vincent Tan as well as Mahathir Mohamad.
What is still the same: All authorised precedents were thrown out the window when BN usurped power in Perak.
* Clamping down upon polite liberties: Force was used to put down the Hindraf entertainment in 2007 as well as the activists were placed under the ISA.
What has not changed: Last july, police fired tear gas as well as chemical H2O opposite Malaysians who were marching for clean elections.
* Race relations: From the keris wielding by Hishammuddin Hussein to labelling non-Malays kaum pendatang to the unresolved emanate of burial rites for converts.
What has not changed: Perkasa stoking secular tension, attacks upon churches as well as suraus as well as Umno supporters boring the cow conduct in criticism opposite building the temple in Shah Alam.
This is what we can recollect though we figure Najib has the lot to apologize for as well as to make amends. He has had dual or 3 years though things do appear no better, even worse.
