Despite rumours of trouble, a divisional meetings proceeded without a hitch, says a party's deputy secretary-general.
MIRI: The Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party's (SPDP) triennial general public in Bintulu this month is expected to be a well-spoken affair.
Its deputy secterary-general Paul Igai pronounced based on a feedback from divisional meetings so far, no groups were confronting trouble.
"It's utterly startling since a meetings went utterly good (and) a preparations for a minutes of a meeting seemed to be more fit than before," he told Bernama here today.
Speculation had been abundant about a odds of difficulty in five constituencies which used to be represented by SPDP inaugurated representatives though who had possibly quit a celebration or were sacked for insubordination.
The five have been Sylvester Entri (Marudi), Peter Nansian Ngusie (Tasik Biru), Rosey Yunus (Bekenu), Paulus Palu Gumbang (Batu Danau) as well as Mas Gading MP Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe. They have now shaped a Barisan Nasional Club to pursue their political career.
On a arriving triennial general assembly, Igai pronounced it would, between alternative things, focus on strengthening unity within a party.
"We have been relocating brazen positively, leaving all a unhappy episode behind," he said.
Apart from a SPDP, a alternative Sarawak BN member parties have been Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP) as well as Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS).
