SEREMBAN: DAP has filed a military inform in connection with a box of dual Election Commission assistant registrars who were sacked for registering a names of dead people.

Speaking to reporters later, state DAP chief Anthony Loke said a duo, who had been sacked by a Election Commission, breached Section 3 (1) (a) of a Election Offences Act 1954 by providing false information.
Calling upon a EC to charge them in court, he said: "Even though a law has been there for so long you have never heard of a EC charging anybody in court for choosing offences of this kind."

"Now, you have lodged a military report. So this is a test box for EC and a ball is in EC's court," added a Rasah MP.
Loke additionally said which a sacking of a twin confirmed Pakatan Rakyat's allegation which there had been attempts to register haunt electorate in certain constituencies.
He additionally warned electorate who authorised their names to be purebred as haunt electorate in addresses which do not exist similar to a box in Taman Sri Amber in Seremban, which he exposed yesterday.
"Under a same section, a electorate can additionally be charged in court for giving false information. They can be locked up for not some-mor! e than d ual years or fined not some-more than RM5,000 or both.
"But I do not wish to board a military inform against them as I know these people are victims of irresponsible politicians. However, they must be clever in future," he added.
