KUALA LUMPUR, February sixteen The 17-year-old accused of aggressive Ashraf Haziq Rossli in last August's London riots denied yesterday violation his jaw though said he was abashed of hidden the Malaysian student's bicycle.
According to theGuardian, the teenager, who cannot be named due to his age, told the justice he had taken the bicycle because he was "tired" though insisted which witnesses were wrong in observant which the person who punched Ashraf also stole his bike.
"When we watched the footage in talk we was very, really abashed of myself," he was quoted as observant by the United Kingdom daily.
Ashraf, 20, had been in London for only the month when his jaw was damaged in two places after he was assaulted during the riots.
He became the unwitting pitch of the riots which saw looting as well as at least five deaths, sixteen injuries as well as 3,000 arrests.
Footage of the host surrounding Ashraf was posted upon video-sharing site YouTube, resulting in British wellwishers pledging thousands of pounds in assist to the 20-year-old.
According to the YouTube footage, other youths seemingly acted as if they were assisting Ashraf, whilst one of them opened his carrier as well as removed multiform items.
Ashraf, who has two metal plates in his jaw, was eventually helped by members of the public as well as treated in hospital.
