HIGHER guidance establishment students here have been approached to sell their 1Malaysia Book Voucher (BB1M) for cash.
Nicholas Lee, director of Zenithway Sdn Bhd, before well known as The Penguins Bookstore, said a bookshop received a call from a personnel of Masterskill Likas saying which students were approached by people claiming to be staff from Zenithway last Friday.
The students were told which they could sell their RM200 worth of vouchers for RM180 in cash. The bookshop immediately lodged a military inform upon a same day. In a press discussion here yesterday, Lee simplified which a bookshop would only accept a vouchers in sell for books.
"Prior to which there have been students from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) as well as Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) who asked if they could money in a book vouchers," he added. Lee serve simplified which a bookshop did not send any personnel to universities as well as colleges asking students to money in their BB1M.
He added which an email has been sent to a Ministry of Higher Education upon this make a difference as well as a notice has been put up at a bookshop accordingly. (BORNEO POST)
