Ex-MIC deputy president Subramaniam back home after brain surgery



KUALA LUMPUR: Former MIC deputypresident Datuk S. Subramaniam, 67, who underwent brain surgery last November, has been authorised to leave for home from the Gleneagles Medical Centre in Ampang.
R. Balakrishnan, his former cabinet member as well as the close friend, pronounced doctors suggested that Subramaniam be authorised to be in the home environment to redeem faster after carrying been in sanatorium for dual months.
He pronounced the veteran statesman was most better now after undergoing physiotherapy during the hospital.
"He can open his eyes as well as move his hands as well as fingers," he pronounced when contacted Thursday.
Subramaniam was certified to the Pantai Medical Centre here upon Nov 12 after he reported being unwell as well as underwent brain surgery.
He was later eliminated to Gleneagles Medical Centre during the finish of December for physiotherapy.
Subramaniam was MP for Segamat from 1990 to 2004 as well as is the former deputy minister, carrying served in multiform ministries. - Bernama
