Occupy Dataran, too?

"No bulls. No bears. Only pigs" - an Occupy Wall Street poster message.

My weekend was outlayed meditative about a whole idea of "occupying". you was rapt with it after spending a great three hours visiting a Wall Street protesters. you have been reading about this "global phenomena", as good as you read as good about "Occupy Dataran", which you suppose is a idea of occupying Dataran Merdeka in Malaysia. Below have been my short thoughts which rapt me after my short ethnographic trip down Wall Street in New York.

It was fun study a denunciation of modern day protests. you consider myself an ethnographer of post-modernism as good as a tyro of amicable revolutions, for my early papers during my undergraduate days were radically about revolution, such as study a make up of a physique of a Iranian as good as Nicaraguan revolutions of 1979.

I wrote about a Computer Revolution in a 1980s as good as my later work has been upon cybernetics as good as existentialism (as in a pretension of my blog). My students in Cultural Perspectives were given an choice to compare as good as contrariety a Arab Spring as good as Occupy Wall Street, so you longed for to have sure you know what they will be talking about, hence my three-hour revisit to a "Occupy Wall Street" move.

I longed for to assimilate this global phenomena of a criticism transformation as good as good as to mind a purpose as good as a denunciation of it! as good as to break down in to parts a "culture of it" as it becomes popularised. you found some engaging themes which brought me back to my undergraduate days, with my tyro day movements as good as m! y occasi onal involvement with Amnesty International, generally in a criticism opposite apartheid.

There is an engaging regard you made there. Crude as it might seem, but with an element of "intellectual culture" being displayed, as if there is an "artistic as good as social" installation being displayed, consisting of a elements of a seeds of a revolution ideologically based upon anarchism.

In there have been tents with tellurian beings which have been 'nomadic', a makeshift living room of anarchist literature, a food pantry, a kitchenette, a "mini stage" for speeches as good as travel entertainment as good as presentations for in advance thinkers to drop by as good as lend support, anarchistic literature, a "think-tank tent", an outreach tent, bicycles, as good as carelessly made criticism posters .

All these you found to be engaging elements of a reaffirmation as good as perhaps change of heart of in advance alertness loosely orchestrated by girl far-reaching watchful sufficient to see their society being dominated as good as hegemonised by corporate culture.

The actuality which it was a camp as such, right there upon Wall Street, is a in advance matter which is delectable sufficient to a girl of any city in a world as good as attractive sufficient a transformation to be broadcasted by both a corporate-controlled as good as amicable as good as personalising media.

As you was feeling a clarity of 'camaraderie' with a protesters, who will still be there in a freezing weather, you ask myself: "what do they instruct to achieve" in a world in which all is already structured by a beliefs of a "magic of a marketplace" as good as a Berlin Wall has fallen"?

And when each as good as every part of a body, a consciousness, or cognitive excursions in to a spaces of believe as good as power" as good as a very life has been a place as good as a habitue of a exploitation of corporations as good as governments comparison which have enslaved a mind as good as the! body, a nd in which ! spiritua lity has also been hijacked by laissez faire to be turned in to essential tellurian try in to understanding a divine?

I do not know. As a lifelong tyro of both philosophy as good as informative anthropology you do not have a answer to a meaning of what you have been seeing in Occupy Wall Street or even "Occupy Dataran", when radically you still believe which in advance changes can happen best by sum change, informative re-engineering, a dismantling of a corporate entrepreneur system as good as perhaps "re-villagisation" of tellurian beings as good as to reorganise ourselves in to "communes". you do not know.

America is America. And generally New Yorkers have been a people of a strange planet. To us, this is just a protest, like any other - upon gay rights, Palestinian rights, Israel's rights to exist, rights of animals, of a Tibetans, to eat super-sized McDonalds everyday, rights of a New York City's exposed cowboy to sue his commercial operation opposition , a exposed cowgirl, etc. Life still goes upon because arguments or discourse has been so relativised as good as post-modernised as good as debated of a pros as good as cons as good as a subjectivity which anything goes.

But back to a Malaysian scene. If Occupy Wall Street is about a matter made upon corporate fervour in America, what then is a summary in Occupy Dataran? Which Malaysian corporations have been a summary for? Who is a a single percent as good as which a single is a 99 percent?

How have a corporations in Malaysia been instrumental in a plan of alienating, marginalising, as good as plundering a "people" or a "rakyat"? How will a make up of carry out be exposed? What is a inlet of domestic economic control? Who owns what, by what means?

These have been a questions which seductiveness me as you see Malaysia as good undergoing what Chairman Mao would call "interesting times".
